Great Teriyaki Chicken at a Gas Station Truck
My experience was at a little food truck located in a gas station. Despite its unassuming location, the teriyaki chicken was very good. The service was also friendly.

Best Teriyaki and Katsu in the Neighborhood
My official teriyaki spot! After exploring the neighborhood, I found this place to be the best. The portions are generous and perfectly sized.
The teriyaki has a fantastic char and the ideal sauce ratio. The katsu is wonderfully crunchy with plenty of meat. While it's becoming as pricey as other brick-and-mortar restaurants, it remains competitive with similar establishments.

Solid Seattle Teriyaki, Worth the Visit
My experience at this restaurant was great! I tried it because they are open Sundays, and now it's my go-to spot in the area. The teriyaki is solid Seattle style, and the portions are good for the price.
I was initially concerned about past reviews mentioning mushy rice and not enough sauce, but it seems those issues have been fixed. The concept is simple: you order chicken, spicy chicken, or beef teriyaki, and the portions are so generous you'll likely have leftovers for later. My only minor dislike was the salad dressing; it wasn't the standard thin, sweet mayo+vinegar dressing, but that might have been my ordering mistake.
Overall, the food and atmosphere were excellent, with no wait time.

Best Teriyaki and Fried Rice!
My experience at this restaurant was SO good! Seriously, it was the best teriyaki we’ve had in a while. The chicken had a really nice grill, and the sauce was great.
We also got the fried rice, which was packed with chicken chunks and had a nice sesame oil-based sauce. We absolutely loved it; it was much better than your average teriyaki! This is definitely our new regular spot.

Fresh Teriyaki, Lacking Salad Variety
My experience at the restaurant was largely positive, especially concerning the food. The teriyaki was fresh, delicious, and generously portioned. I opted for the chicken and beef combo, and I must say, both were great.
However, the salad was a bit disappointing as it consisted only of lettuce and dressing. I would love to see more variety of vegetables in the salad to improve it.

Crispy Katsu and Great Value
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! The Katsu was perfectly crispy, and the teriyaki chicken was wonderfully well-marinated. I was also impressed with the healthy portions offered for the price.
It's a true Ballard staple.

Not the best teriyaki, but decent
My experience at this restaurant was okay, but it didn't quite measure up to another teriyaki spot I frequent on Leary, just south of Market, which I consider one of the best in town. The spicy chicken here was a bit of a letdown; it seemed undersauced and lacked the expected level of spice.

STOP USING BLACK PLASTIC!
My experience was extremely negative due to the use of black plastic. I was informed that this type of plastic leeches double the microplastics into your food. I am giving 0 stars until this practice changes.

Good Mongolian Beef, Lacking Sauce
My experience at this restaurant involved ordering the Mongolian beef/chicken combo. I received a good quantity of food, which was a positive. However, the experience was marred by the lack of sauce.
It was unusual to find a teriyaki place that didn't provide teriyaki sauce with the chicken, leaving it plain and not very appetizing. Additionally, the rice was really bad. On a positive note, the Mongolian beef was amazing.
