Brickhouse: A Flavorful and Charming Experience
My experience at Brickhouse was a perfect combination of vibe, ambiance, good food, a great beer selection, and rustic charm. The building itself, made of brick, truly makes you feel the history of the space as you walk in. We visited on a Tuesday and ordered their Pozole.
Our food orders were taken around 9: 15 PM, and we received our meals quickly. The pork pozole was incredibly flavorful, with a tomatoey kick that was mouthwatering. It came with a variety of sides: red pepper flakes, crunchy salty tortilla bits, fresh chopped cabbage and cilantro, raw white onions, perfectly ripe avocado, sliced radish, and a squeeze of lime.
To balance the spice, I added sour cream, which made it stunningly ideal. We each enjoyed a bowl of the pozole and started with their fresh rosemary chips and a side of ranch, which were delicious and impressive. The wait staff were all lovely humans and incredibly helpful.
We will definitely return.

Pleasant Spot with Good Food
The place is pleasant, with music at a good level for conversation. The food has a very good flavor, although it is a bit heavy. I recommend it for having some beers and snacking on some fries or fried calamari.

Hidden Gem Near the Ballpark!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! It's the best little gem close to the ballpark. The service was awesome and the food impressive.
The burgers are incredible, and every dish we tried was fresh. The garlic fries were even better than those at Oracle Park. The shrimp and grits were very savory.
This will definitely be our new pre-game spot. Everything was delicious.

Phenomenal Burger, Ignore Bad Reviews!
Alrighty, here we are. I wanted the wagyu but not at $30. I came and grabbed the brickhouse burger medium.
I've read many bad reviews about this place and the burgers. This burger is phenomenal and cooked exactly the way I ordered with some pink. It's great.
Don't let the poor reviews deter you from the delicious burger. They play Paisa music, which doesn't match the demographic.

Good Food, Slow Service Near Park
My experience at this restaurant was a mixed bag. The food was good, and the beer was also good. Its proximity to Oracle Park makes it a great option for pre-gaming.
However, the service was just slow.

Disappointing Dinner Experience
We went for dinner and our experience was largely disappointing. Our server was almost nonexistent, only appearing to take our order. For a party of 9, the food arrived at staggered times, with some finishing their meals before others even received theirs.
The burgers were bland and lacked seasoning. Those who customized their burgers did not receive them as ordered. While the fries were decent, the garlic fries were exceptional, the best part of the meal.
The overall experience was expensive for the quality received. The added gratuity for our large party felt unwarranted given the poor service. I would not return or recommend this restaurant.

Cute Venue, Burnt French Toast
My experience at this restaurant was a mixed bag. The venue itself is very cute, and the taste of the food was good. However, the French toast was unfortunately kinda' burnt.
Additionally, it took forever to get the check.

Disappointing Return Visit
I used to enjoy this restaurant about 13 years ago and decided to return for dinner before a show on a busy night. Unfortunately, my experience this time was not positive. I ordered a chicken sandwich and a side salad, which were both very small and underwhelming, leaving me still hungry.
My girlfriend's burger was supposed to have grilled onions and avocado, but it arrived with raw onions and no avocado. We paid an extra $2 for a quarter of an avocado, making her hamburger a staggering $28. We also ordered two margaritas, served in tiny glasses, which tasted awful and seemed to be made from sugary bottled mix.
While I understand city dining is expensive, $95 for two bad drinks and two mediocre sandwiches is too much. I will not be returning.

Good Burgers, Bad Service
My experience at this restaurant was a mixed bag. While the burgers were good, the service was disappointing. On two separate occasions, the same waiter displayed a disrespectful attitude.
The first time, we attributed it to it being late, and we even overlooked an order mistake. However, during our second visit, which was earlier in the day, the waiter's attitude remained the same. Despite the food quality being a positive, the poor service significantly detracted from the overall dining experience.

A Gem Found After the Game
We popped into this restaurant after a baseball game because all the other sports bars were packed. I am so glad we walked a little further and discovered this gem. They had a good happy hour.
We ordered the chicken pot pie and roasted cauliflower, both of which were delicious and served quickly, even though it was busy. I would highly recommend this place. It's also conveniently located a short walk from CalTrain!
