Atmospheric Wine Bar, Not for Full Meals
My experience at this restaurant was for a little atmospheric glass of wine. The atmosphere was rated a 5, and it certainly delivered on that front. However, it's important to note that you shouldn't expect to eat a proper meal here, as they only offer little plates.
The food was rated a 5, and the service was also rated a 5, indicating a high level of satisfaction with both aspects.

Great Food, Hope It Stays!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! Despite a small menu, everything we tried was great. It's a shame that Hayes Valley doesn't seem to have more cute brunch or gathering spots like this.
I truly hope this place stays forever!

Absolutely Delicious - Must Try Everything!
My experience at this restaurant was incredible! The vibe was great, and the service was excellent. Everything we tried was absolutely delicious.
We were especially impressed with the bread and butter 🤤, the hanger steak, the bruschetta, and the carpaccio. The reviewer highly recommends trying everything on the menu.

Immaculate Vibes and Delicious Food!
My experience at this restaurant was absolutely wonderful. I loved the dishes, the wine selection, the service, and the immaculate vibes. From across the street, the place looked like a happy version of an Edward Hopper painting!
I will definitely be going back:)

Incredibly Yums Food, Gem of an Owner!
My experience at this restaurant was incredibly yums! The food is truly on par with what I've had in NYC, which is a high compliment. My favorites included the scallop with brown butter and truffle blend, the scallop/salmon crudo, and the mussels, which are uniquely bred to be so plump.
To my utter delight, the bread was also exceptional – some of the freshest and crackliest baguette I've ever encountered, perfectly complemented by the salted butter. The owner is a real gem, deeply caring about ingredient sourcing, which is palpable in the excellent quality of everything served. I enjoyed a nice glass of wine (the Burgundy white was excellent) while savoring these delicious bites.
It's definitely worth a visit!

Favorite Spot for Bites and Wine
This is one of my favorite places for smaller bites and good wine in SF. I definitely recommend getting the mussels, scallops, and some crudo. You can just enjoy the experience.
I can’t wait to come back.

Great Addition to Hayes Valley
This is such a good addition to Hayes Valley. I had a really tasty food experience, enjoyed the nice wine list with a good by-the-glass selection in addition to the bottle list, and the vibe was on point. The service, atmosphere, and food were all rated 5/5.

Expensive Portions, Mixed Experience
My experience at this restaurant was a mix of disappointment and appreciation. The portions were quite expensive, feeling like an attempt to blend tapas with a fancy restaurant style, resulting in small servings. For instance, the bruschetta was priced at $11 for two very small and bland pieces.
It seemed like the host favored other tables, offering them an intro drink and more bruschetta, while we and those at the bar received less attention. However, the waitress was super great. Despite the issues with pricing and perceived favoritism, I wish them the best, but we will not be returning.

A Wonderful Neighborhood Go-To
I am fortunate to be 2 blocks away and can finally enjoy an accessible restaurant with a wonderful menu in a beautiful setting. Although Petit Crenn was great, it wasn’t a spot that you could just walk into and have a casual glass of wine and something small and interesting. Bosque is now a neighborhood go-to that I will frequent often!
I have had the calamari, early girl gazpacho, and hangar steak. Fantastic! I always look at reviews and the distribution here is interesting!
All 5 star and a couple of 1 star. Nothing in between!
