Good Food, Efficient Service
My experience at this restaurant was positive, focusing on the food and service. I enjoyed the pork chop with garlic noodles, which had great flavor and was well balanced overall. While the noodles were a touch salty, they were still really good. The service was efficient, which I particularly appreciated as I was dining solo for lunch.

Incredible Pho, But Risky Cancellation Policy
My experience at this restaurant was a mix of culinary delight and policy concern. The Pho was absolutely incredible, possibly my favorite in San Francisco. The food quality is a definite 5 out of 5. However, the restaurant's cancellation policy is quite strict, charging $25 per guest for cancellations within 2 hours of the reservation. While I understand the need to prevent no-shows, this timeframe feels insufficient for unforeseen circumstances, and the fee is equivalent to an entire meal. This policy seems a bit ridiculous and I believe it should be reconsidered.

Awesome Pho Broth!
My experience at The Pho Hanoi was awesome! I literally drank every drop of the broth. This was my first time here, though I have visited San Francisco many times. I would recommend.

Okay experience with fermented pork and chicken
My experience at the restaurant involved trying the fermented pork spring roll and the chicken and rice dish. Both were just okay.

Delicious Food, Great Atmosphere!
I visited wanting to try their pho, but unfortunately, it's not available during dinner. I ordered other dishes, and the food was truly delicious! They sell cocktails in the evening, so there are many appetizer-focused dishes. The atmosphere and service were good, and the food was especially tasty. I'd like to recommend the "TOM RIM" TIGER PRAWNS. The shrimp were large, and the sauce was incredibly delicious. They offer a 15% discount with hotel partnerships during lunch, and I would have visited again if I had more time. A recommended restaurant in San Francisco~!

Disappointing Pho Experience
My experience at this restaurant was disappointing. I usually go to Melt for burgers and sweet potato fries when in SF, but decided to give this place a chance. I ordered the Rare steak Pho, but the meat quality was not good; it remained red and chewy after 10-15 minutes. The soup base was decent after adding lime and sauce, but overall, it wasn't my cup of tea. 😔

Disappointing Pho and Slow Service
I was disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. Despite hearing good reviews, our visit on a weekday for lunch was not a good one. We were seated at a small table near the restroom, even though many tables were empty. During our meal, only two tables were being served, including ours. While the rice roll with mushrooms was good, the beef pho was unexpectedly terrible. The meat was plentiful but lacked flavor and freshness, making it tough to chew with a strange, stale taste. It's hard to believe a Vietnamese restaurant would get pho wrong; it might be the worst I've ever tried. We also experienced significant waits, with a 30-minute wait for the pho and another 30 minutes for the check. Attempts to get staff attention were ignored. The service felt unfriendly, especially for those seeking a quick lunch. Given the food, service, and location, I won't be returning.

Overpriced and Disappointing Meal
My experience at this restaurant was disappointing. The food was overpriced and lacked flavor. Specifically, the truffle fries rice was dry and tasteless. Unfortunately, everything else we tried was also of poor quality and expensive.

Fancy Vietnamese with Unique Takes
This restaurant is quite fancy in town. The food here is really good and presented in a very fancy manner. You might find it a little bit pricey, but the portion sizes are quite large, making it a good experience if you go with your friends or workmates. I personally liked the lamb chops a lot, but everything is really good and has a very unique take on Vietnamese food. The atmosphere and service were rated highly.

Blown Away by Bodega SF!
Locals and Reddit recommended Bodega SF, and despite my usual hesitation with "fusion-y" restaurants, we decided to go. We were absolutely blown away! The mochi ice cream dessert was a standout, with everyone calling it a "top 3 dessert in my life. " The small bowl of chicken pho was actually a medium size, and while not 100% "authentic, " we rated it an 8 out of 10. It was also relatively dirt cheap! All of our entrees received no lower than an 8 out of 10, with the dessert earning a perfect 10. The place was packed, and the service was great. Bodega SF is now a mandatory stop on our visits to the city. The lighting was dim, making photos less than ideal, and the food doesn't "pho(to)" well – eat more, put the phone down!
