Disappointing Sandwich, Friendly Waiter
I was expecting a good sandwich for $23, but my experience was disappointing. I ordered the one with pistachios, and it was horrible. The sandwich was floating in its juice, making the bread soggy.
The meat was excessively salty, and what was supposed to be mortadella tasted more like spam. There was a distinct lack of balance in the flavor. On a positive note, the waiter was friendly.

Top-Tier SF Dining Experience!
My experience at this restaurant was easily one of the best meals I've had in San Francisco, which is saying a lot because I rarely, RARELY have a bad or mediocre bite in this city. This place is just top tier. The bread was INSANEEE, crispy, with good flavor, thin but with just enough chew – the perfect sandwich bread ever.
We got the margarita with chicken; the tomatoes were sooo fresh, the sauce was delicate and also bursting with flavor. The fruit toast is a must: the honey was mild, sweetening the ricotta and fruit, but still kind of complex because it wasn't just sugary, and not overpowering. I've never had anything like it.
Loved the tagli salad; it was punchy and vinegary with crunchy lettuces. The NA moscato is really nice, sips exactly like a mild white wine. I ordered an Arnold Palmer with their iced tea and mint lemonade 😍😍.
I'm already plotting on when to come back. Amazing ingredients prepared to perfection!

Beautiful Gem with Delicious Food!
This place is a beautiful gem with a cute decor and vibe. Our server, Brooklyn, was so sweet. We had the pizza, which was delish and filled with flavorful meatballs.
The portions were good. The Lambrusco was on point! I now understand why this place got high reviews.

Surprisingly Great Italian Sandwiches!
My experience at this restaurant was surprisingly great, especially with their Italian sandwiches and salads. I believe the magic lies in the thin bread and perhaps the olive oil, which tasted more authentically Italian than most options available in the US. The coffee was fine, and the restaurant boasts good modern decor.
The service was friendly.

Charming European Cafe Vibe
My experience at this restaurant was that of a great casual lunch spot. The food was fresh, simple, and delicious. I appreciated the unusual wines by the glass, including some off-menu options, and a very appealing happy hour.
It's indeed a great place to stop on your way to the Legion of Honor. The quiet neighborhood, expansive windows, and shining interiors give it a lovely European cafe vibe.

Charming Neighborhood Cafe with Great Coffee
This is a charming neighborhood cafe located on a street corner. It's a great spot to grab a coffee and a small pastry in the morning, or to enjoy a drink and share some plates during the day. The atmosphere is very pleasant, and the cappuccinos are excellent!

Delicious Bandiera and Great Atmosphere!
My experience at CVC was wonderful. I stopped by after visiting the Legion of Honor Museum and ordered a Bandiera sandwich, which was absolutely delicious! The atmosphere is also great.
My server was very attentive and graciously offered to charge my phone when it ran out of power. I would highly recommend CVC!

Casual and Tasty Pizza Spot
My experience at Boa CVC in SF was great. The restaurant features a self-service setup that functions well. I enjoyed the housemade bread, which was good, and the pizza was tasty, though more on the flatbread side.
The salads were fresh. The casual vibe and friendly staff contributed to an easy and satisfying quick meal.
