This was our first time at B&TH. We attended the Earshot’s Thomas Marriott Quartet concert, and it was absolutely amazing! The concert was great, and the acoustics were fantastic. The food was also delicious! We purchased our tickets in advance and made a reservation for a dining table, as we planned to have dinner there. For the best seats, we recommend getting your tickets, reserving a dining table, and supporting this beautiful venue!

My experience at this restaurant was a mixed bag. The atmosphere was fantastic for seeing a show, and the staff were super friendly. However, the food was awful. The wait time was no wait at all, and the service received a rating of 4. The noise level was very loud, making it hard to hear. Overall, the food experience was a 1.

My experience involved purchasing $30 tickets for an event, only to find that seating was not guaranteed. Despite others with "reserved" seating (which wasn't available for purchase online) sitting in front of us, the venue offered no alternative to standing. The owners need to address their seating policies to ensure fairness and equity.

My experience hosting my 50th birthday party at the Black and Tan Hall was an incredible experience from start to finish. Working with Camilo was easy; he provided an accurate and transparent quote. The food prepared by Chef Tae was exceptional, with everything being delicious. He was also very accommodating of my food allergies, providing a detailed ingredient list ahead of time, ensuring I could safely eat all of it. My guests repeatedly complimented the food, and I'm excited about the leftovers! The bartenders were amazing – friendly, efficient with the crowd, and helpful. The sound person ensured the karaoke ran smoothly, working well with my DJ. I am so grateful for how effortless everyone at the Black and Tan Hall made it to host an event. I would definitely recommend them and would host there again.

My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! They have amazing food and the staff is friendly, which is a rare find in Seattle. It's a great spot to visit, open Thursday through Sunday. They also host affordable concerts, typically free to $20. This is a black owned business.

I recently celebrated my birthday at Black and Tan Hall, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The venue was warm, welcoming, and full of character, a perfect space for bringing people together. But what truly made the night unforgettable was the incredible performance by Yambambo. Their energy, talent, and vibrant sound had everyone dancing and smiling all night long. Guests couldn’t stop talking about how amazing the music was. Yambambo brought such joy and life to the celebration, turning it into a night we’ll never forget. Thank you, Black and Tan Hall and Yambambo for making my birthday extra special. I’m already looking forward to the next time I get to see them live!

I can’t say enough good things about Black and Tan Hall in Seattle. Recently, my family and I experienced a heartbreaking loss, and they opened their doors to us for a repass to honor our beloved friend. From the moment we walked in, we felt supported, respected, and cared for in ways that truly touched our hearts. I want to give a very special thank you to Nadia Miller, the owner, whose kindness and professionalism made an incredibly difficult day just a little easier. She went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly, giving us the space and support we needed to celebrate our friend’s life with dignity and love. The atmosphere at Black and Tan Hall is warm, welcoming, and full of history and heart. It’s a place built on community and care, and you can feel it in every detail. My experience at this restaurant was fantastic, largely due to the very friendly bartender who engaged in genuine conversations with customers. I highly recommend respecting her and this spot. They also host affordable concerts, typically priced between $10 and $20, which is a great addition. I urge everyone to support this venue. The Lamb sliders and Loaded Chili Fries were absolutely amazing!

My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! The vibe is incredibly community-oriented, creating a friendly and intimate atmosphere. The food is absolutely awesome; I can't stop thinking about the buffalo cauliflower. They offer many really solid vegetarian options, which is clearly a focus for the chef, not an afterthought. The music was also great.
