Incredible Sandwiches, Great Service!
I LOVE THIS PLACE! My family and I come here all the time, and it’s incredible. We usually get our food to go because it’s not a large building, but in my opinion, it’s the best sandwich in SF. We normally get the Very Veggie, Danny Zuko, Club, and BLTA, all on Dutch crunch, and they are always so incredible. The service is also great and fast; we received 4 big sandwiches in less than 10 minutes! I highly recommend this place, and I hope this was useful 😁.

Awesome Sandwiches, Inconsistent Execution
My experience was with sandwiches that were awesome! However, the product was somewhat inconsistent. Sometimes they would forget to add or subtract things from my order. This time around, one end of the Winnie Cooper sandwich bread I ordered was burnt. I always ordered pickup and never had an issue with waits, with about a 20-minute walk after placing the order.

Rude staff and long wait for delivery
As a delivery driver, my experience at this restaurant was quite negative. I had to wait for more than 10 minutes for an order. When I inquired about the status, the staff member taking the order was rude and dismissively stated that the order would be announced loudly when ready.

Terrible experience, won't return
I had a really bad stomach ache, and the staff wouldn't let me go to the bathroom. I also didn't like the waitress at all. I always came here for dinner, but it didn't go well today.

Wonderful sandwiches, but no bathroom!
I absolutely LOVE this place! I'm working my way through each sandwich, and so far, every single one has been wonderful. My favorites are the CB4 and Poultry Geist. The only thing I wish they had was a bathroom; I only know of one on Haight, but maybe I should just look harder, lol.

Mojo Sauce Dominates All Sandwiches
My experience at Mojo was dominated by their signature mojo sauce. While they offer an impressive 57 different sandwiches with a variety of bread choices, the mojo sauce is so potent that it overpowers all other flavors. It's described as a strong garlic sauce with a spicy, mustard-like undertone. This sauce is the king of the castle, and it will be the only thing you taste, potentially killing your palate for anything else. Be warned about the mojo sauce.

Great Sandwich, Missing Bacon
I ordered the Winnie Copper sandwich, which includes turkey, bacon, avocado, and Jack cheese. This sandwich had the potential to be a 5/5 experience, and it was great overall. However, the main issue was that there was no bacon to be found, which was disappointing as it's listed as the second ingredient. Despite this, the sandwich itself was great, and the staff was great. It was also ready in less than 10 minutes. I really wanted to give a 5, and I'm hopeful this was a one-off mistake. I will give them another try.

Frustratingly Few Onions, Despite Requests
I used to frequent this restaurant, and the concept of the Joey Ramone veggie meatball sandwich was appealing. However, my experience became frustrating due to ignored modification requests and sometimes cold meatballs. The main issue was the consistent failure to accommodate simple requests, specifically for onions. On six separate occasions, I asked for onions on my sandwich, and each time received only a few thin slices. Even asking for extra, emphasizing "quite a lot of onions please, " yielded minimal results, to the point where companions would laugh at the sandwich's presentation. I even resorted to pleading, explaining my love for onions and asking for "way more onions on it than you think is normal or usual or good, " only to receive one extra thin strand. This issue persisted across both locations. Requests for extra sauce were also ignored, with the request not even being written down. It's unclear if this is a policy of stinginess with toppings or a communication breakdown, but it's a unique and frustrating problem. I genuinely want to enjoy this sandwich, which is why I tried so many times. If the restaurant would simply provide adequate onions and sauce, I would be a regular customer. However, this "kafkaesque situation" has driven me away for now. - Lane Erickson
