Delicious Food, Perfect Ambiance, Excellent Service!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! I had a great dinner with friends, and everything we ordered was delicious. The staff's recommendations were all hits. The environment was perfect for catching up over appetizers, pasta, and wine. The service was excellent and welcoming. I cannot wait to come back here soon!

Authentic Italian Market Experience
Stepping into Bettola's Italian market feels like being back in Italy. I love the selection of authentic goods! I now know what gifts to get my family for the holidays! Haha Also the olive oil and the focaccia are incredible. Yum!

Authentic Italian Gem Found!
After my wife and I returned from our Italy trip, I've been on the hunt for great Italian restaurants in the city. I'm so glad I discovered Bettola! I enjoyed the panino con la porchetta and a delicious tiramisu, perfectly complemented by an espresso. I absolutely loved it and now I just need to bring my wife to experience it too!

Disappointing Lasagna Portion and Quality
My experience at this restaurant was disappointing. I ordered the lasagna Bolognese and received a very small and burned piece. Considering the size of the lasagna, I don't believe it was worth the $23 price tag. It's sad to see another Italian place that used to be good decline, especially when there are so few good Italian options available.

Delicious Lasagna, Bland Pesto
My experience at this cute little place was mostly positive. The lasagna was really good, and our appetizer was also excellent. However, my wife's pesto was a little bland. Overall, the food was good, and the atmosphere was great.

A Quaint Jewel on Clement Street
My experience at this quaint and quiet restaurant on Clement Street was wonderful. I had the chicken sandwich, which was served with a side salad. The bread was so delicious that I purchased a loaf to take home. I consider this place a true jewel, and my friend and I have decided it will be our regular meeting place for future lunches.

Disappointing Food, Charming Atmosphere
We had high expectations for Bettola, but unfortunately, our experience fell far short of what we anticipated. The menu was surprisingly limited, offering little variety or creativity. What was most disappointing, however, was the quality of the food itself. Whoever was in the kitchen last week seemed to have no grasp of seasoning or flavor. The dishes were shockingly bland—completely lacking in spices or even basic salt. It was, without exaggeration, the most flavorless meal we’ve ever had. To make matters worse, there was a clear quality control issue: the risotto we were served was undercooked to the point of being inedible—hard as a rock and nowhere near the creamy texture you’d expect. The one redeeming aspect was the atmosphere. The space is charming and inviting, which makes it all the more disappointing that the food didn’t match the setting. Here’s hoping Bettola can bring in a capable chef who can turn things around—because the location certainly deserves better.

Cozy Italian Gem on Clement Street
My experience at Bettola was wonderful! If you're looking for a cozy and vibey spot on Clement Street for dinner, I highly recommend it. As someone who grew up Italian, I know what meatballs should taste like, and Bettola's were super homemade, reminiscent of Sunday night dinner. The atmosphere is enhanced by amazing jazz music and black-and-white movies screening on the wall. The service was exemplary. They also offer the option to buy pasta, olive oil, and cheese to go, truly making it feel like a cozy part of the neighborhood. I highly recommend it. We were the only ones there on a Thursday evening around six, so you don't have to worry about lines! I enjoyed a spritz, and my partner had a natural rosé. Thank you, Gianluca & Co.

Pleasant Service, Disappointing Italian Food
I have to say that the service and atmosphere were very pleasant. However, the food was not so good. As an Italian, I can say that the spaghetti with clams were the worst ever; they had no flavor at all and tasted like water with lemon, being so watery. Additionally, I only received 5 clams. I also had the calamari, and they tasted like they were old. Overall, the service was excellent, but the food was definitely not close to Italian flavor.

A Neighborhood Gem for Delicious Meals
This place is truly a gem in the neighborhood. I had a delicious meal here, and every dish was a winner. My favorite things were the roast chicken, the cavatelli, and all the vegetable sides, especially the cauliflower. It's a great spot to pick up a chicken and sides for dinner on a night when you don't feel like cooking but want a special meal. I would highly recommend you eat there though to enjoy the warm ambiance and delicious wine! Can't wait to be back soon!
