On October 18th, while I was at Sotto Mare across the street, I observed young men in bear costumes, likely from the No Kings Rally, carrying protest signs and wearing Arabic headscarves. They were walking peacefully when a patron at your establishment, seated on the patio, began loudly harassing them with racial slurs and taunts about terrorist organizations. I could clearly hear this disruption from outside. The young men, surprised, continued on their way. A few minutes later, they calmly approached the patron who had heckled them, pizza in hand, to inquire if he was the one yelling about Hamas and to offer a conversation to dispel any fear or anger. I was impressed by their calm and collected approach to a potentially inflammatory situation, aiming to educate and facilitate dialogue. What followed was very disappointing. Your staff member wrongly accused these youths of trespassing and harassing patrons, despite them remaining on the sidewalk and never raising their voices. The staff member threatened to call the police and have them arrested without inquiring about the situation. The youths then left with their pizza. I tried calling your establishment multiple times upon returning home but reached only voicemail. As a POC from the Bay Area, I am deeply uncomfortable with your staff not only tolerating a racist individual but also harassing clearly Brown youth. I will not patronize your establishment nor recommend it. Shame on you for propagating hate and prejudice.

I frequently visit this restaurant for an Aperol spritz or a prosecco. I particularly enjoy sitting outside, especially when they feature live music. The outdoor area is comfortable at night, even when it's cool, thanks to the presence of heaters.

My experience at this restaurant was extremely negative due to the service provided by one of the staff members. This individual forgot to charge us properly and then returned with profanities, which was unacceptable. The picture is added to show the person that made us uncomfortable.

My experience at this place was fantastic. The bartender was incredible, and the bar has a cool SF classic North Beach vibe. There's plenty of room, and the spectacular outside seating is perfect for enjoying a beer and people-watching. It offers a wholesome local experience or a fun dive bar atmosphere. I had the ham sandwich, and it was amazing – perfectly toasted bread with delicious jam. For a dive bar, it was pretty much perfect. I would 100% come back here.

My first visit to this restaurant was fantastic, and I loved it. However, on my second visit, I experienced a significant issue with the service. I stood at the front for 10 minutes waiting to be seated, even though it wasn't busy (around 4: 30 pm). Servers walked right past me, and the bartender didn't acknowledge me at all, which unfortunately led us to leave.

Bella Cora is a place that truly defines San Francisco for me. I've visited multiple times, often when in town to see friends or visit the Italian Club, and a stop here is always a must. The service is spectacular, and the wines are excellent. It's incredibly satisfying to sit on the sidewalk out front, watch the city bustle, and anticipate a wonderful evening. Sometimes there's music, and even when it gets chilly, it adds to the glamour and style of the experience. Though my background is Irish, I feel like a native San Francisco Italian while sipping a huge glass of red wine and reminiscing about the old days.
