Amazing Vibe and Food!
I absolutely love this place! I was staying nearby and found myself consistently drawn back. The vibe is amazing, and the food is never disappointing.
While there's nearly always a wait for a table, it's with good reason. The servers are attentive and will always find you a spot, never forgetting you're waiting. I highly recommend it.

Great Service, Delicious Chowder!
My experience at this restaurant was largely positive. I was impressed with the lovely service and the great food. I heard that the soup of the day is always a good choice, and the chowder certainly lived up to that reputation.
The restaurant offers plenty of outdoor seating. Inside, it can feel a bit cramped when busy, but I visited around 9 PM and had a great time.

Pleasantly Surprised by Great Food and Service
I initially checked out the menu before visiting and wasn't overly impressed. However, I was pleasantly surprised by my experience. The spinach salad was "off the hook, " and the pork tenderloin special was cooked perfectly – moist and tasty.
The other specials also looked good, and the portions were generous. The wait staff was awesome and good-humored.

Bell Tower: A San Francisco Gem!
My experience at Bell Tower was fantastic! This charming neighborhood diner is my absolute go-to spot. They offer consistently spectacular food and expertly-made cocktails—you genuinely can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.
A huge shout-out to the team: Megan, Jeremiah, and Barbie always make you feel like a regular with their incredibly friendly and attentive service. Fair warning: Bell Tower has an obvious and devoted local following, so it fills up quickly! Definitely plan ahead with an early arrival or a reservation.
On the bright side, they're perfect for a late-night fix since the kitchen is open until midnight and the bar until 2 AM. Do yourself a favor and check out this fantastic spot!

Molten Cheese Therapy: Bell Tower's French Onion Soup
My experience at Bell Tower was defined by their incredible French onion soup. It's more than just soup; it's molten cheese therapy. The onions were perfectly caramelized, and the Gruyère stretch was truly spectacular.
I felt like I was on a third date with the soup! I would 10/10 risk burning my tongue again.

A Reliable Go-To for Unpretentious Eats
We've been visiting BT since before the pandemic and were relieved to see it survive. The food is consistently unpretentious and generous, both in flavor and portion size. It's our go-to for late-night meals, especially for their pulled pork nachos and truffled macaroni and cheese, as well as the french onion soup.
The waitstaff has always been very friendly, diligent, and personable. The prices are spot on. I really wish they'd open another location up at Tahoe because they'd do really well and their vibe is just what SLT needs.
Parking can be a bit trying, but it's worth it. You'll be safe crossing the street. Take your appetite and go – you won't be disappointed.

Great Food, Helpful Staff, Decent Prices
My experience at this lovely pub was fantastic. The food was great, and the staff could not have been more helpful. I found the prices to be really decent compared to a lot of places in SF.
The atmosphere was lively, though it was loud, you could still talk. Overall, a very positive dining experience.

Mia Makes This Neighborhood Pub Amazing!
You absolutely must eat here! I was so hungry, and the food looked so delicious that I forgot to take a picture. The Bolognese pasta was "freaking good.
" Our waitress, Mia, was the sweetest, most helpful, and informative person. She was so down-to-earth and proactive; we never had to ask for anything because she anticipated our needs. Mia even called the chef at home to confirm the vegetable soup was vegan for my dad, which was the sweetest gesture ever.
Mia was truly the best waitress we've ever had! My dad loved the veggie pizza with no cheese, and I'm definitely getting it next time, even though I like cheese. The food was absolutely fantastic, making my mouth water just writing this.
It's a neighborhood pub, but the food is incredible. My dad, usually a tightwad, was so impressed he said he'd tip Mia $100 if he had $100, and he even slipped her three $20 bills! I'm definitely going back if I'm anywhere near the neighborhood and will get extra pizza to go.
Thank you, Mia!
