Great for Sharing, Needs More Spice
I visited with a group of three and we shared a mezze sampler and the musakhan. The chicken in the musakhan was incredibly tender and delicious, though I personally felt it could have benefited from a bit more kick in spice and flavoring. The sampler was amazing, and I would definitely order it again. This is definitely a place to come to share a bunch of things, not ideal for solo dining!

Best Arabic Food & Wholesome Experience
My experience at this restaurant was absolutely fantastic! I had the absolute best Arabic food in the Bay Area. The staff treated us so well, and they make all the food fresh to order. It was a 10/10 experience. The owner, Samir, shared a wholesome story about naming the restaurant after his Mom, which added a special touch to our visit.

Beit Rima: Cozy Middle Eastern Gem
I don't often venture out for Middle Eastern food, but recently I've been exploring more spots with friends and coworkers, and Beit Rima is definitely a top contender. They have several locations across the city; for this visit, we chose the Church Street one due to its easy public transit access. The space itself is cozy and popular, which means it can get quite loud when full – there was a waitlist and a line out the door at one point. While we were seated at a two-top, I appreciated that they also offer long communal tables. You're seated and given menus first, then you order at the counter, and the food arrives pretty fast. We shared the mezze sampler, and each of us ordered the beef kebob plate. It was more than enough food, with leftovers to take home. We skipped dessert this time, but I'd be happy to return to try the muhalabia and explore more of their savory dishes.

Terrible Experience, Avoid This Restaurant
My experience at this restaurant today was incredibly disappointing. The workers treated me badly, and I felt disrespected. After being told my order would be ready soon, I waited and then had to inquire. When I asked a staff member about the bathroom, I was directed, but upon returning, my order was confirmed incorrectly due to my phone's network issues. When I questioned the confirmation, I was informed they didn't have the food I ordered and was rudely told to "go away. " The staff said many bad things to me. I left feeling disappointed and demotivated. This restaurant seems to be cheating customers to make money, and I strongly advise no one to go here.

A New Favorite: Amazing Flavors!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic, quickly making it one of my new favorites in San Francisco. On a warm, sunny, yet cool Bay Area day, I enjoyed a tangy lemonade while appetizers and food were served. The food was amazing good, with amazing flavors and truly delicious dishes, including the baked olives, lebneh, beef kabob, and chicken. I can't wait to go back.

Excellent Food, Terrible Service
My experience at Beit Rima was a tale of two halves. The food was excellent, earning a perfect score. However, the service was deplorable. We faced a long wait of over 30 minutes between our appetizers and main course. The Gen Z waiters seemed aware that diners had already paid, contributing to a feeling of indifference. When we inquired if anything could be done about the extended wait, the waiter promised to speak with her manager and never returned. Consequently, we will not be returning.

Favorite Middle Eastern Spot in SF!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! It's my favorite Middle Eastern restaurant BY FAR in SF, and the prices are great too. The chicken skewers were cooked so well – incredibly tender and well-seasoned. I also loved the muhammara dip, which was soooo good.

Overhyped and Overpriced Beit Rima
My recent visit to Beit Rima in San Francisco was a deeply underwhelming experience. The only positive aspect was the French wine, but even that was marred by a dirty glass. The food was a significant letdown. The hanger steak was a meager portion of five tiny slices of an incredibly tough cut. The shoushouka was dried out, tasting more like an old tomato marinade than a fresh, flavorful dish. Even the halloumi lacked freshness and felt like an afterthought. Considering the quality, the prices are seriously inflated. To compound these issues, the service was practically nonexistent; no one took my order at the table or checked in, yet an 18–20% suggested gratuity was pushed. Overall, this restaurant feels heavily overhyped and fails to deliver on taste, quality, or service. It is definitely not worth the price.

Fantastic Mezze and Chicken Musakhan!
My experience at the restaurant was fantastic. I particularly enjoyed the mezze and found the chicken Musakhan to be amazing. I visited during lunch, which was a most easy-going pace. The staff was friendly, and I will definitely be back!

Incredible Food, Service Lacking
My experience one night in this area of SF was that the dining experience was really not great. However, when the food finally arrived, it was so incredible that the prior experience melted away, and we were engulfed in depths of flavor and unctuousness. It was worth it for the food!
