Delicious Korean Feast with Great Atmosphere
As a first-timer, my experience was overwhelmingly positive, with everything being delicious. I particularly enjoyed the mushroom banchan. The restaurant's setup, featuring a long central table, makes it suitable for large parties. The atmosphere was enhanced by the Kpop music playing. We tried several dishes: the Army Stew was a huge portion, though it could have used less rice cake. The Seafood Pancake was crispy and flavorful, becoming one of my favorites. The Chicken Wings were also juicy and crispy, a definite yum. The Braised Pork Belly, a special menu item, was served with lettuce and garlic. The Galbi had no complaints. Finally, the Kimchi Fried Rice was a nice accompaniment to the meat, though I've had better versions. The service and food were rated a perfect 5, and the atmosphere also received a 5, with a moderate noise level and no wait time.

Authentic Korean Gem with Exceptional Service
Bay Pocha is a true treasure tucked away in the Ingleside Terrace neighborhood. From the moment you step inside, the cozy space, adorned with traditional Korean touches, instantly transports you to Seoul. Our experience was made even more special by the extraordinary customer service. When my dad accidentally ordered Bulgogi instead of Galbi, our server graciously fixed the order without hesitation, a small act of kindness that spoke volumes. Every staff member is warm, attentive, and genuinely cares about their guests. The food itself is bold, comforting, and unforgettable. Both the Bulgogi Mushroom Stew and Galbi were phenomenal, bursting with flavor and served in generous portions. Each bite offered the same depth and authenticity I remember from dining in Korea. Bay Pocha may be small, but it's huge in heart, flavor, and hospitality. It's the kind of place you fall in love with after one visit and can't wait to return to. Their legendary Beef Rib Stew is next on my list! If you're in San Francisco and crave real Korean comfort food served with soul, Bay Pocha is an absolute must.

Shady Billing Practices, Beware!
Watch out — they will add a standard 20% service charge and then present you with a separate, non-itemized bill that asks for an 18%, 20% or 22% tip (without disclosing that the 20% service charge was already added). Don’t fall for this super shady trick.

Mediocre Food, High Prices, Poor Cleanliness
My experience at this restaurant was mediocre at best. The food wasn't prepped well, and the prices were double what they should be. The kimchi was okay, but overall, the restaurant was not very clean. Our table and chairs were sticky when we sat down. I would not recommend this place.

Great Food, Atmosphere, and Crew!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! It's always a good place to visit. The atmosphere was great, complemented by an awesome crew. Not to mention the food quality was excellent. The recommended dishes, Bossam and Tofu & Kimchi, are a must-try.

Delicious Food, Reliable Service!
My experience was overwhelmingly positive! Everything was delicious. The glazed pig feet were beautifully presented and super flavorful, with a generous portion size that could easily feed two. The corn cheese was fresh, tasty, and nicely presented as well. The service was reliable, and the overall experience was convenient. I'll definitely be ordering again! Just a tip: make sure to heat it up before eating if you're getting it delivered like me! (:

Late Night Win at Bay Pocha
My experience at Bay Pocha was a late night win! I came for the vibes and stayed for the incredible food. The kimchi fried rice, rose tteokbokki, and bossam were all straight fire, with flavor that was truly on point. Adding to the great experience was Cho, our server, who made the night even better with great service and good energy. We’ll definitely be back for sure!

Delicious Food and Welcoming Vibes
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! I consistently enjoy their fried chicken wings, chicken gizzards, army stew, kimchi fried rice, seafood pancake, and galbi. The vibes are great, and the staff is always welcoming. It's my go-to spot whenever I want to enjoy soju and good food.

Not Authentic Korean Food
Please beware. Never mind the feedback you see on Google. This isn't Korean food. The Korean food is way better than this restaurant. My experience with the food was extremely disappointing, rating it a 1 out of 5. The atmosphere was also poor, scoring a 2 out of 5. While the service received a 5 out of 5, it couldn't compensate for the subpar food.

Rat spotted, ruined the experience
My experience at this restaurant was unfortunately marred by a significant issue. While the food itself was generally good, with the seafood pancake being particularly enjoyable and the pork belly decent, the bulgogi was tough. However, the overall experience was severely impacted when we saw a live rat at the end of our meal, right in front of our table on the wall. This discovery, coupled with a similar report from Yelp five days prior, points to serious unsanitary conditions and potential health risks. Although the restaurant comped our meal, the fact that the rat had likely been there for days is concerning. I cannot recommend visiting until this issue is resolved.
