When it comes to value, there are some bright spots to consider. Diners appreciate the fair pricing on bottles of wine and often find happy hour to be a real gem, offering decent pricing for the quality of certain items. If you time your visit right, you might snag some good deals and feel youre getting your moneys worth.

However, the overall sentiment leans towards disappointment. The score for value sits at an average 4.3, with customer satisfaction at a poor 17.9%. Based on 28 comments (19 negative vs 5 positive), many feel it's not worth the cost, citing extremely pricey dishes with small portions and overpriced items like sparkling water or soft serve ice cream.

Beautiful Decor, Busy Vibe
It had been years since I've been to Barcha, but I went back relatively recently for a work dinner. This was actually my first time here for dinner since I've only come for lunch before, and I had forgotten how beautiful the decor is inside, especially at night. Barcha definitely draws an after-work crowd (it is in FiDi, after all). It was already busy when we arrived and it just got busier from there. Good thing we had a reservation since we needed several tables put together. We shared several appetizers and desserts and everyone ordered their own drink/main. The dishes we ordered included the trio of spreads, Moroccan cigars, falafel, beets, blistered peppers, Persian tahdig (so good!), and the pistachio tiramisu. The prices feel in line with this area of SF. One downside: someone in our group was vegetarian and the main options for them felt pretty limited. Overall, it was a good experience — a nice dinner in a convenient location — though the crowd and energy definitely felt very "work-y. "

Delicious Shawarma, Slow Service
My experience at this restaurant was primarily positive due to the food. I ordered the Turkish Spiced Lamb & Beef Shawarma with potatoes, and it was absolutely delicious! The meat was incredibly tender and perfectly seasoned. While the flavor was outstanding, the service was a bit slow this time around. Additionally, it's on the pricier side for a sandwich and side. However, the exceptional flavor truly made it worth the cost. On a prior visit, when we dined inside, the service was noticeably faster. The pictures included are from a September visit, showcasing the Chicken Shawarma and Grilled Steak Kabob.

Delicious Food, Great Service, Noisy Indoors
My experience at this restaurant was largely positive, with delicious food and perfect service. The outdoor terraces are a great feature, being heated and even providing blankets. However, the inside dining area was quite noisy, possibly due to acoustical issues. Adding some textile on the floor or walls might help improve the acoustics.

Disappointing Lunch Experience
My experience at this restaurant was disappointing. The lunch menu was limited, and the food was not seasoned. The only item we enjoyed was the dumpling. The atmosphere was cramped, with patrons almost elbow to elbow. Additionally, the server was never around, making for a frustrating dining experience.
