Best Time in Seattle Yet!
My experience at Baranof last night was exceptional. It was my first time visiting, and I can confidently say it was the best time I've had going out in Seattle. I've traveled across the country, and the memories I'd wished to repeat since moving here were lacking until I discovered this neighborhood and Baranof.
I'm so glad to know that good times, good halcyon days, and good people don't have to be a thing of the past just because I'm in Seattle. Cheers to Baranof! I'll definitely be back.

Amber is an exemplary bartender!
My experience here was excellent, largely due to the service. I highly recommend seeking out Amber, who is an exemplary bartender. She is loving, caring, and strives diligently to engage with everyone.
The food and atmosphere were also good, both rated at 4 out of 5.

Awesome Vibes and Activities Galore!
My experience at this place was incredibly cool, offering so many rooms for activities! I loved that I could stay in the same bar and hang out, play pool, do karaoke, and so much more. Overall, the vibes were awesome!

Fun Karaoke Night with Good Fries
My experience at the Baranof restaurant and bar was on karaoke night around 11: 30 AM - 12 PM. It seemed like a fun crowd! I ordered a vodka cran, a Big Wave beer, and a surprisingly decent-sized basket of crinkle-cut fries.
The place is quite nice after spending time at the arcade games and walking around enjoying the sights. They also have pull tabs and some entertainment. I suggest it!

Fun Karaoke Night with Great Service!
My experience at this restaurant was a fun night with good service. It's not a bad spot for karaoke and drinks, and it might be the cheapest on the block. Bartender Shakira was awesome and really went above and beyond for us.

Great Vibes, Fun Activities, Decent Bar Food
I absolutely loved my experience at this bar! The vibes were great, and the karaoke and staff were fantastic. They've remodeled the front, adding darts and more pool tables, which are even free on Sundays!
The new daytime bartender, Amber, is wonderful – I wish she worked nights too! The food is decent bar stuff, though I do wish there were more options.

Nice Staff, Terrible DJ
My experience at this restaurant was mixed. While the bartenders were nice, I found the DJ/karaoke host to be rude and nasty. This negative aspect of the atmosphere significantly impacted my overall experience, and I would likely choose another place to spend my time.
I feel bad for the bartenders who are losing customers because of this individual. I would share more, but I wish to maintain my reputation as a reviewer.

Classic Dive Bar Experience
My experience at this restaurant was exactly what you'd expect from a classic dive bar, and it checked all the boxes. The decor made me second-guess my decision upon entering, but the pull tabs, locals who seemed to live there, and simple stiff drinks were all part of the charm. The karaoke, pool & darts, and being open till 2am added to the authentic dive bar atmosphere.
While it might be a 3-star establishment by non-dive bar standards, places like this are a dying breed and are truly needed. The bartender was super cool and also made some mean chicken strips. The late night menu is limited, but the $3 Jell-O shots, chilled in a tub of ice, are a must.
The "Happy Hour" from 11am-3pm is a genius touch.

Dive bar with strong drinks
My experience at this restaurant was that the menu on Google is incorrect. They are currently revamping and have a limited menu. The drinks are strong, and the dive bar atmosphere is even stronger.
It's a great place if you're up for a dive bar experience.

Unwelcoming Service, Good Drinks
My experience at this restaurant was disappointing due to the service. I came in with my black partner to order a drink. The female bartender with short gray hair walked by us waiting at the counter three times.
She then stated it was a shift change, even though it was 15 minutes prior to 7 pm. She then asked her coworker, who hadn't clocked in yet, to pour our drinks, saying, "will you get these two people? " He was great and so were the drinks, and he mentioned aloud that he hadn't clocked on yet.
Following this, the bartender proceeded to make drinks for the next new couple that walked up to the counter. It was a sad experience.
