Delicious Combo Pork Sandwich!
My experience at the restaurant was fantastic! I ordered the combo pork sandwich, which came with pate, fancy pork, head cheese, ham, mayo, and pickled carrot and onion. I also added jalapeño.
The combination of the toasted bread and generous pate made the sandwich wonderfully crunchy and moist. The meats and veggies were very tasty, especially with the pickled carrots. The price is right, and the sandwiches are very good.
I will definitely come back for more.

Hidden Gem for Great Banh Mi
My experience at this restaurant was a pleasant surprise! It's a hidden gem that offers very good bánh mì sandwiches. While the sandwiches are typically smaller than at other places, they come at a lower price, and the quality of the ingredients seems better.
The food was rated a 5, and the service and atmosphere both received a 4.

Decent Veggie Options, Bread Needs Work
My experience at the restaurant was okay. The veggie options were good and prepared the way I like them. However, I wasn't a fan of their bread, as I prefer a denser texture.

Perfect Banh Mi for a Simple Joy
My experience at this grab-and-go spot was fantastic. I tried one banh mi, and it was perfect, well executed, and well balanced. It's a simple joy to be able to enjoy it at the cute little playground nearby.

Fantastic Bahn Mi, Worth the Location
Don't be discouraged by the location inside of a medical center. This is a fantastic Bahn mi, served quickly and super affordable. I might have to come back weekly.

Alright Veggie Sandwich, Great Price
My experience at this restaurant was a bit mixed. I tried the veggie seared tofu sandwich, which was alright, but unfortunately a bit flavorless. It seemed like they didn't include enough aioli to really add much flavor, and the tofu itself was bland.
On the positive side, the ingredients were fresh and the price was great. I was a little disappointed given the restaurant's great reviews, but I suspect the flavor in other sandwiches might come from meat. I would have given it three and a half stars if possible.

Good Banh Mi, Needs More Salt
My experience at this take away counter shop was positive, largely due to the friendly service. I tried the bun bo hue banh mi, and while the overall flavor was good, the meat could have been improved. It was a little bland, suggesting it could have benefited from more salt, or better yet, salting earlier in the cooking process to make it more tender.
Despite this, the flavor was good. Overall, I'd rate it 4/5 :)

Good Banh Mi, Lacking Flavor
I ordered four banh mi: the BBH special, pulled pork, BBQ pork, and the combo. The sandwiches were stuffed exactly as pictured. I decided to venture into SF to try them after seeing the high ratings, having been at Muir Woods with my husband.
The baguette itself is quite good, but unfortunately, the flavor wasn't quite there for me; this is just personal preference. I found the meat in all the sandwiches to be a bit bland. The best part was likely the veggies on all of them.
The pate was also on the sweeter side for my taste. Considering the price, I expected them to be a little bigger, but that's SF 🤷♀️. Service was okay; I ordered online via Yelp/GrubHub and just picked up my order, so there wasn't much interaction with the workers.
I would still recommend giving it a try.

Phenomenal Banh Mi Experience!
I’m always on the hunt for an amazing banh mi, and today, I hit the jackpot. I went with the beef brisket, and it was absolutely phenomenal. The bun was perfection: fresh, soft, yet perfectly crisp on the outside.
It paired beautifully with the tangy pickled carrots and fresh cilantro, creating the perfect balance of flavors. The beef was tender, generously portioned, and packed with flavor. And that dipping sauce?
A sweet, spicy, and tangy masterpiece that elevated every bite. Honestly, I was tempted to order a second one right then and there!
