Reliable Banh Mi Flavor
My experience at this restaurant was consistently good, especially with their banh mi. The flavor is always reliable because it's made the same way every time. This consistency ensures a dependable and satisfying meal.

Banh Mi Lacking Spread and Cold Meat
If you don’t like spreads like butter, pâté, or mayo, this banh mi might be for you. I typically order the classic ham combo (A3) as my baseline for banh mi places. I found this sandwich to be a bit dry due to the lack of spread inside; they only added a dash of soy sauce/fish sauce. Consequently, the vegetables were more prominent. The meat seemed rationed. I feel like someone who prefers a cleaner, healthier-tasting sandwich would enjoy this style, but personally, I like mine smothered in pâté and other spreads. It was also odd that the meat was extra cold when I got it toasted for takeout. Holding the sandwich with the wrapper on the way to the car, I could feel the meats were particularly cold. While I'm sure it's due to good refrigeration, the contrast between the toasted bread and super cold meat felt strange, though I admit I might be being picky as I had just eaten another banh mi, so it was fresh in my mind. This place is open until 8 PM, which is later than most banh mi places that close around 5 PM. I would stick to Q Bakery or Tony's in the area. They did seem to offer some unique combos not commonly found in the area, and the option to add an egg or avocado is a nice touch. The lemongrass chicken banh mi is also available. There are four stools for seating, but they aren't really usable because the door opens into two of them, or there are knick-knacks and plants in the way. I would suggest adding some covered outdoor seating. There's a picnic table, but it's not well-thought-out. Bread: 3/5, Pickles: 3/5, Meat: 3/5, Spread/sauce: 0/5, Value: 3/5.

Reasonably Priced Bahn Mi, Good for On-the-Go
My experience at this restaurant was quite positive, especially considering the reasonable prices for their Bahn Mi. The bread was nicely crunchy, and the portions were fair – they neither skimp nor overstuff. It's definitely more of a to-go spot, with a nice menu and nice peeps serving you. They also have a large tea menu. While I would have preferred a more authentic grill taste, that's a personal preference. I see this place as being in the middle road of Bahn Mi offerings, with room to keep growing. I'd like to see a standout Bahn Mi here, but I would definitely go back. As a self-proclaimed Bahn Mi critic, I recommend giving it a try. It's a good and cheap option for an on-the-go lunch, breakfast, or dinner.

Disappointing Decline in Quality
I used to get the crispy pork belly bahn mi all the time, but recently I went in and saw some stuff crawling around the toaster oven… looked like a roach. The sandwiches lately have been hit or miss, definitely not the same as when they first opened up. It's just not worth coming here anymore. I’ve been going to My’s Deli in Skyway now; it’s a little bit out of the way, but the food at My’s is way fresher and tastes better.

Great Banh Mi, Minor Mayo Issue
My experience at Banh Mi Deluxe in Seattle was largely positive. The baguette was exceptional, perfectly crispy and airy, truly one of the best I've had in the area. The fillings were flavorful and satisfying. The only aspect that fell short was the mayonnaise, which lacked the richness and depth expected in a traditional bánh mì spread. On a brighter note, the Vietnamese cà phê sữa was strong and well-balanced. Overall, this spot is worth a visit, and I'd definitely come back for another round.

Cold and Dry Combo Sandwich
My experience at this restaurant was disappointing, particularly with the combo sandwich (a3). The sandwich was served super cold and dry, even after requesting extra pate and toasting. There was barely any sauce and the meat felt frozen. For a better Vietnamese sandwich experience, I'd recommend Sunta for the best in the area or Seattle Deli for the best in the city.

Favorite Banh Mi Spot with Great Catering!
This is one of my most favorite banh mi places! They include viet mayo, pate, AND liquid seasoning/soy sauce on every sandwich, which I really appreciate as it's hard to find elsewhere without extra costs. The amount of meat for each sandwich is fantastic, and I don't mind paying a little extra for more. The drinks have always been great too; the fruit teas can be sweet at 100%, but you can request less sweetness. I've also enjoyed their Nem Nướng Cuốn, which is great! Their catering was amazing as well. A small tray of Nem Nướng Cuốn fed about 10-15 people and came with plenty of peanut sauce. I also ordered pounds of their crispy pork, which was chopped upon pickup. Everything was fresh and delicious 🩷. You do need to call and pay in advance for pickup, which is understandable. Every employee I've encountered has been nice. I hope they can get online ordering working soon, as I've only succeeded once, and the website seems broken for me 🤕.

Best Banh Mi for the Price!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! I found the best banh mi I've had for the price. It's my go-to spot for a quick, cheap lunch. I highly recommend the crispy pork banh mi!

Delicious Roasted Duck and Great Service!
This was my second visit, and I absolutely loved it! Both times, I ordered the roasted duck, and it was incredibly well-flavored and peppery. The service was great and quick, with everyone being very nice. Plus, the pate is always a welcome addition!

Good Bahn Mi, Could Be Warmer
My experience at the restaurant was centered around their Bahn mi. I ordered the A5 lemon grass chicken Bahn mi, which was good. However, I felt it would have been a much better experience if the Bahn mi was heated up, as the entire sandwich, including the meat and bread, was cold. If it had been warm, it would have been a 10/10 experience.
