Fantastic Blues & BBQ Experience!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! The tunes were great, and the food was equally impressive. It's exactly what you'd expect from a place with "blues" and "bbq" in its name.
I've also visited the Venice Beach location, and both are truly fantastic.

Delicious, Affordable, and Highly Recommended!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! The food was delicious, and the overall value was excellent – bueno, bonito, barato (good, pretty, cheap). I highly recommend it and would definitely repeat if I have the chance to return.
The atmosphere was great, and the service was top-notch.

Burger was raw, inedible
I got the burger for takeout, and it was so raw that it had to be thrown out. It looked like it was on the grill for only one minute. This was a very disappointing experience with the food quality.

Great BBQ and Kid-Friendly Fun
My experience at this restaurant was great! I enjoyed the excellent barbecue. For families, it's a fantastic place as they have huge buckets of coloring pencils and coloring books for kids.
Overall, it's a great place for dinner.

Authentic Texas BBQ Away From Home
As someone from Austin, TX, I know good BBQ, and I was initially skeptical about trying it outside of my home state. However, the craving was strong, so I ordered the ¼ lb pulled pork, ½ lb brisket, the Texas beef rib, and their mac & cheese. I was delighted to find that everything was delicious!
The brisket was the star, boasting a smoky, flavorful, and incredibly tender profile that made me regret not ordering a full pound. The Texas beef rib was a fun, meaty, and nicely smoked experience, even for someone who doesn't typically eat them back home. The pulled pork was flavorful and juicy, and I enjoyed tasting the meat on its own.
The mac & cheese was creamy, cheesy perfection, truly reminiscent of Southern style. The generous portions meant leftovers fed me for two more meals, making it feel like a steal. A special mention goes to Jackie, the manager, whose warmth and hospitality made me feel instantly welcome.
She kindly indulged my Texan request for pickles and guided me through their sauces, each worth trying, especially when mixed for unique flavor combinations. The atmosphere also perfectly captured a Southern vibe. I'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu, and I'm hoping for peach cobbler next time.
If you're nearby, it's absolutely worth the trip for their beautiful blend of Southern BBQ. This Texas girl gives it a thumbs up!

Great Eats and Welcoming Atmosphere!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! I absolutely loved the Mac and cheese. They also offered a great selection of homemade sauces with every spice level, which was a nice touch.
The baby back ribs were really good, and the spice from the Hot Link added a pleasant kick to the meal. The music selection was great, and the servers were both nice and welcoming. I also appreciated that the bathrooms were clean and well-stocked.
Overall, I would most definitely go back!

Laidback Gem with Fresh Food
I really like this place. I learned about them from the SF locals, so during breaks from work, I would find a park and come here and throw down. The food is always fresh and the staff is always friendly.
I’ve tried multiple items here including the blackened catfish and the brisket, which is awesome also. I like the beef links too. This is a laidback gem in the Mission.
