My experience at this restaurant was largely negative, primarily due to the exorbitant price of a single drink and the dismissive attitude of the manager. I ordered a McAllen 12 yr drink, which cost an astonishing $40. 00.
I later discovered that a comparable drink at the View bar and restaurant, which overlooks the city, was priced at $25. 00. When I approached the front manager to address this discrepancy, I was met with a lack of understanding.
She stated that different Scotches have different prices, but I pointed out that there is only one McAllen 12 year. Her response was that the restaurant sets its own pricing, and she didn't seem to care about my concern. This experience has taught me a valuable lesson: always ask for the price before ordering.
I will not be returning to this establishment to eat or drink again.
