Enjoyable First Latin Restaurant Experience
This was my first time dining at a Latin restaurant, and while the menu was different from what I'm used to, I truly enjoyed the overall experience. The service was excellent, and the food was quite delicious. I tried the shredded beef areas, which is essentially a sandwich made with cornmeal instead of flour. It was a very messy meal to eat, but incredibly tasty. I had a good experience and would definitely return.

A Taste of Venezuela, Almost Perfect
My experience at this restaurant was very pleasant. The menu immediately brought back memories of Venezuela, and if you're familiar with Venezuelan cuisine, you'd want to order everything. The food was quite good. I didn't give it 5 stars because it felt like it was missing a certain touch, which I suspect is due to the difference in ingredients available in the US compared to Venezuela. However, the service was excellent. I highly recommend this place to Venezuelans and non-Venezuelans alike. I'll definitely be back soon. Thank you for bringing a piece of Venezuela to us.

Great Food, Poor Service & Billing Issues
My experience at the restaurant was a mixed bag. The food was very tasty, earning a perfect score. However, the service was disappointing. They charged for sauces that were not even brought, and the bill took a very long time to arrive. This significantly detracted from the overall dining experience.

My experience at this restaurant was excellent. It's the first restaurant with good Venezuelan food here in SF. The service was great, and the quality of the people working there was also very high.

Authentic Venezuelan Gem in SF!
My experience at this Venezuelan restaurant in San Francisco was exceptional, exceeding our expectations! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The location is perfect and easy to find. Inside, the space is elegant and inviting, with music that transported me back home. The menu is authentic and thoughtfully designed, offering all the classics that Venezuelan food lovers crave. We started with the pabellón empanadas and tequeños, both absolutely delicious. We also enjoyed the patacón and pabellón. On weekends, they serve a fantastic sancocho, and I was even able to take home frozen tequeños for later, which was such a treat! This place truly captures the flavors and warmth of Venezuela. We can’t wait to come back, especially for one of their live music nights on the weekend. A gem in the Bay Area!

Horrible Service and Hidden Tip
My experience at the restaurant was horrible due to the horrible service. They automatically charged an 18% tip, treating it as an obligation even for a party of two, without asking. When I inquired about this, the waiter claimed it was new policy but couldn't provide any documentation. He also stated the manager wasn't available. I will not return; the service was horrible. In California, tipping is not mandatory.

Venezuelan Food Disappoints with Price
My wife and I are Venezuelans, and during our vacation in San Francisco, we decided to look for a Venezuelan restaurant to relax and enjoy good food from our homeland. We found the restaurant AREPA and entered very excited, with high expectations. We ordered two cachapas with cheese (one with shredded beef and another with pernil), a passion fruit juice, a Polar beer, three small empanadas, and for takeaway, another cachapa with cheese and shredded beef, a passion fruit juice, and three empanadas. Our surprise came with the bill: $160 dollars in total. The service was slow and inattentive, and when we asked for the bill, they never gave it to us; the waitress even left quickly to avoid doing so. Additionally, they automatically charge an 18% tip without consulting. The food was acceptable, but the relationship between quality and price makes no sense. The prices are excessive and are not justified by the service or the quality of the product. There are many options in San Francisco, and this place should improve significantly if it wants to compete.

Awesome Spot with Great Food and Service
My experience at this restaurant was awesome! The food was so good that I would come here every day if I lived nearby. The service was attentive and quick, with drinks arriving soon after sitting. They also allowed us to linger after eating without rushing us for the check, making it a really solid spot.

Authentic Venezuelan Gem in the State!
As a Venezuelan, I can confidently say this is the most authentic Venezuelan food I've ever had in the entire state. The Tequeños, cachapas, and arepas (both vegetariana and pelua) were all stellar. The chicha was thick and delicious. Do yourself a favor and get some arepas here.
