Disappointing Bland Guatemalan Cuisine
I really wanted to like this restaurant, but my experience was disappointing. All six different food items I tried were bland and lacked flavor. The meat in the chuchitos was dry, and even the bland red sauce served with everything couldn't salvage the meal. It's a shame because Guatemalan cuisine is not commonly found, and I had hoped for a better experience.

Tasty Adobada Chicken and Great Sides
I tried the adobada chicken because I cannot eat pork, and it was tasty. I imagine the pork adobada tastes even better because chicken is drier, but it still tasted delicious. The potatoes were very tasty, and the refried beans with guacamole and chives gave it the perfect touch. Although I'm not from San Francisco, I recommend it to the locals there to try this restaurant. The breakfasts also look very good. Besides the good quality food, you will be very well attended. It was worth the trip.

Delicious Food and Welcoming Family Atmosphere
I had a great time with my friends and some very tasty food. I tried the chile relleno, which was a really delicious stuffed chile. My friends enjoyed the dobladitas and caldo de pollo. The service was quick and kind. As a family-owned restaurant, the owner and his family truly make you feel at home. Thank you guys!

Finally, Authentic Guatemalan Food!
I've finally found a Guatemalan restaurant with decent food that's worth paying for. I was getting tired of other Guatemalan restaurants that only sell fried chicken and fritangas, beef broth, and beef foot broth with vegetables – lacking color, flavor, and a good accompanying salad. It's always the same salad sold in other Latin restaurants: lettuce, carrot, radish, and a slice of lemon. That gets boring. Here in Antigua Guatemala, it's my favorite restaurant of all. The price is a bit elevated, but those who want to eat well and have a nice experience will pay for it. If you don't know Guatemalan food, then you don't know gastronomy. Antigua Guatemala Restaurant is worth coming to eat and pay for.
