Terrible Buffalo Chicken Salad Experience
My experience at this restaurant was quite disappointing. I ordered the buffalo chicken salad, which turned out to be one of the worst salads I've ever had. The chicken was boiled and very cold, completely lacking any flavor.
To make matters worse, I waited around 20 minutes for this simple order, even though the place was empty. I will definitely not be going back, as it felt like $12. 00 wasted.

Cute Spot with Mixed Food Experiences
My experience at this restaurant was a mix of highs and lows. I tried the turkey/bacon/avocado sandwich, and honestly, I was a little disappointed. For $14, I expected more than just one piece of bacon and two slices of turkey, with a lot of lettuce.
It felt a bit pricey for what was served. On the brighter side, the breakfast croissant with ham, egg, and cheese was very good and hearty. The place itself is super cute, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.
They offer daily specials, sandwiches, coffee and lattes, salads, fruit, and other drinks. All in all, it's a nice spot with good vibes and some tasty items, though the sandwich portion could be more generous for the price.

Disappointing Portion Size and Value
My experience at this restaurant was disappointing. I ordered a meal that came in a very small bowl with very little chicken. I ended up spending $14 for what felt like only about 15 grams of protein.
The food quality was poor for the price paid.

Raw Chicken and Ignored Service
I was initially excited to find a healthy lunch spot near work. However, my experience was very disappointing. I ordered the Thai Chicken Salad, and to my dismay, the chicken was still raw and had frostbite on it.
It appeared to have been precariously cooked, then frozen, and then served on my salad still frozen and raw. Furthermore, despite being the only customer, I was ignored at the order counter for several minutes by the two staff members present. There was no greeting or acknowledgment, just complete disregard.
Due to the fear of consuming raw chicken again, I will not be returning.

Quality Decline Since Staff Change
I am saddened to update my review from 5-stars to 3-stars. Ever since the kind lady that made most of the açaí bowls has left, the quality and service have decreased in the past couple months. I respect the business and truly hope it improves again, it is literally one of those special foods that make me go “mhmm!
” after each bite. I used to visit regularly 1-2 times each week for this açaí bowl. Sadly, the bowls the past couple months are lacking their aesthetic/neat presentation, their consistent fruit portions, and need to ensure fresh fruit is used (I had to pick out browned bananas).
I also hope they improve their service and quality check as well. These bowls are not pre-made, when you order one - then they make one. They have the açaí in a big tub and they make a big, fresh batch of in-house granola as needed.
I got my most recent açaí bowl (and did not order ahead) and took it with me to go. My office is just a 4 min walk over and when I opened it, the açaí had spilt and the whole bowl was thoroughly melted! : (It was a melted açaí soup, I had never been given a melted bowl before.
I didn’t have time to go back and return it, and I honestly believe I was given someone else’s açaí bowl order who hadn’t picked it up yet. My friend’s bowl in the same order was freshly made because she doesn’t like coconut, yet my order with everything on it was melted. It takes at least 30+ mins for these bowls to thoroughly melt.
A few days later I returned and politely shared the feedback with the owner and sadly did not receive any reassurance and felt dismissed. I wasn’t expecting a free bowl or anything, but something like “I’m sorry that happened, that is not normal. Thank you for letting me know, I’ll look into this so it doesn’t happen again.
” Instead I got “I don’t know how that happened. I don’t know. Okay, take care.
” Again, I truly hope they improve. I’m not visiting as often, but I hope my next açaí bowl and the açaí bowls going forward improve because I still believe they’re one of the best açaí bowls in San Diego. The pictures are from when the quality was unmatched before, you can see the care and time the kind lady took before to make each one.
If it wasn’t strawberry hearts, they were displayed neatly like the bananas. ❤️ Original Review: This is my fav place in central San Diego to get açaí bowls! The staff are so friendly and welcoming, the service is great, and omg the açaí bowl is delicious!
What really sticks out is the granola they use is made in-house and they put it on generously! I went on Valentine’s Day for lunch and the kind lady who makes the açaí bowls cut the strawberries as hearts - so cute! They really pay attention to their customers and make it a great environment.

Good vibe, great food!
My experience at this restaurant was quite positive. I'm not usually one to tip before service, but the staff member had a good vibe with customers. The food was excellent, and the atmosphere was also great, both receiving a perfect score.
Overall, it was a very satisfying breakfast experience.

Delicious Coffee and Friendly Staff!
My experience at this restaurant so far has been limited to their coffee, specifically a spicy mocha, which was absolutely delicious. I've heard great things about their food and observed multiple call-in orders being picked up, indicating it's a popular lunch destination. The menu looks yummy, and the staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating, kind, and awesome.
I'm really looking forward to returning for some grub.

Great Local Spot with Excellent Food and Service
While traveling to San Diego on business, I discovered Café 160. It's a great little local place, conveniently located in an office property. The atmosphere felt family owned or definitely mom and pops, and the service was great, as was the food.
Thank you for a good cup of coffee!
