My experience at this restaurant was a mixed bag. The sushi itself was good, featuring fresh fish and nice preparation. However, the overall atmosphere made me want to leave. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was uncomfortable. The waitress seemed confused and annoyed, offering no greeting. The music was loud Disney-style, making it hard to relax, and the space felt cold and uninviting. The miso soup arrived cold, and while the beer was fine, it could have been colder. While the food is decent, this is a place better suited for takeout.

My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! It's a great local spot with timely service, quality fish, and great portions. The prices are great, and the restaurant and bathrooms are clean. It's become my new favorite spot.

My experience at Oki was just okay; nothing truly stood out to elevate the restaurant. The interior felt more functional than charming. The staff, who were not Chinese, lacked the detailed attention one might expect from a Japanese restaurant. Regarding the food, the scallop and tuna nigiri were nice, but the squid could be improved; it was a bit chewy. Scoring the squid a bit deeper and letting the lemon juice penetrate longer would likely resolve this. The rolls were alright, but after a few bites, they all tasted the same, making them difficult to distinguish. There was one moment where the staff made me uncomfortable. When I ordered more ginger, the waiter relayed the request to two guys at the sushi bar. They looked over, laughed, and spoke in Hokkien, continuing to laugh towards me. I found this strange and thought their time would be better spent improving their sushi skills rather than making customers regret their visit.

My experience with DoorDash from this restaurant was extremely disappointing. I placed my order at 5: 30 PM, and it wasn't ready until 8: 30 PM. When I called, the staff was rude and only offered that they were busy. It's crucial to make food in the order it's placed. Being told on the phone that they don't care about delivery orders speaks volumes about their customer service and business practices.

I attempted to order delivery through DoorDash at 5: 30 pm on a weeknight, only to see the estimated delivery time balloon to nearly three hours. When I called the restaurant for clarification, the response was dismissive: "We're busy. Just wait another hour or cancel. " The issue is compounded by DoorDash's policy, where the restaurant still receives payment if they mark the order as "being prepared, " even if canceled. This experience was totally not worth it. The food itself is mediocre at best. While I've ordered from here numerous times over the past five years, I will never order from here again.

The menu was excellent, and the happy hour menu offered great prices. I was impressed by the great selection of rolls, featuring clever and delicious combinations that reminded me a bit of Tokyo. My experience at the restaurant was terrible. We ordered food on a Tuesday night and it took over 2 hours to get the food. After multiple check-ins and rude service where we were ignored, we finally had to cancel the order.

While the restaurant is a bit small and crowded, we had a great dinner here. We ordered a wide selection of rolls, about 10 in total, and enjoyed the leftovers for lunch the next day. The rolls offered a creative variety, including less common ingredients like jalapeno, lobster, walnuts, and fresh mango. The sauces were used to enhance but never overwhelm the rolls. Everything was fresh and delicious, and the presentation was a pleasure. The OMG roll was truly "OMG" with a just-right combination of flavors that made me soooo happy! The beer was cold, and the sake was served at the perfect hot level. The service was excellent. It was a true "Goldilocks experience" – everything was just right.

My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! The food was amazing, and the prices were great. The service was also top-notch. My only complaint is the music playlist, which was horrible, cheesy Asian pop music that sounded like daycare center music. Lol!

As an SF native, this is my go-to spot for sushi. The prices definitely reflect the huge pieces of fish with the sashimi. The rolls are beautiful and priced the same as other places.
