The food was delicious, with fresh seafood and interesting preparation. The service was good. However, the prices are high. It's convenient that the restaurant is located near the sea lions and seals, but there are many people wanting to dine here. To get a seat inside, you have to wait. You can get a seat outside immediately, but it's cooler there. It's very crowded, cramped, and noisy. The atmosphere is not suitable for a romantic dinner.

The location was very pleasant. Dining alone, I was able to be seated near the port view, with the sea lions. The clam chowder is very good.

My experience at PMSR on Pier 39 was a nice little spot during our day of adventures. While the cocktails were a bit too "perfumy" for our liking, we were expecting more of a rum punch taste. On the positive side, the lobster was as fresh as can be expected. The fries were a surprise bonus, offering great outside crispness and a tender inside. The clam chowder was top-notch, and the appetizer of crispy salmon bites was well worth it – a must get! The stylish decor was slightly off-putting due to the "Denny’s"-esque salt and pepper shakers, which felt a bit bougie to notice, but it’s worth maintaining a top-level aesthetic.

I ordered the garlic butter seafood platter/boil for $55. What they fail to tell you is that the seafood isn't just butter and garlic like the menu described. There is a red color and has an odd taste. I think it's Italian seasoning. Not very good. I wish I was warned. I was excited for my seafood until I tasted it. I was very disappointed. It was also very greasy.

Everything was very delicious. I believe the staff can improve. The place is always very full, so sometimes you have to wait a bit.

Feeling a bit tired from walking around the pier, we decided to take a break here. We tried their clam chowder, garlic fries, and mission margarita, and they were all absolutely delicious! A delightful surprise was the seating right next to the water, offering amazing views while enjoying the food and drinks. The service was absolutely delightful. Highly recommended!

My experience at the restaurant was marred by a really long wait. I was told I'd receive a message when my table was ready, but I never received anything. To make matters worse, I later discovered a hair on my plate. While the service definitely needs improvement, I must acknowledge that the fish was fresh.

I came to dine with my family while in town, and the service was exceptionally wonderful! However, the food was just "okay. " Everyone hypes the clam chowder, but I have yet to find a place that lives up to the hype, and I had to drown mine with black pepper for taste. The calamari was alright, and I did appreciate that it wasn’t chewy like at most places; it could use a little seasoning. The garlic fries were my favorite 😁. The fish and chips were okay, maybe needing some salt. The atmosphere and service of this place were wonderful, just not so much the food, but to each its own.

My experience at this restaurant was mixed. Given the location, the price was reasonable, and the portions were fair. However, the food generally lacked flavor 😅. The mussels were the only dish that stood out. The sourdough clam chowder was quite disappointing; the bread was tough and rubbery, falling short of our expectations. The fried seafood platter was okay, and at least the fish didn’t have a fishy taste.

My experience at the restaurant involved ordering two orders of salmon burger and calamari. Unfortunately, we only received one. To make up for the mistake, the waiter, Vanesa, kindly added some fries. The service was great, the atmosphere was good, and I love the food, especially the salmon burger.
