A Decade of Deliciousness at Americana!
Americana has been one of my favorite brunch spots in Seattle for the past 10 years. I can highly recommend their American Benedict, French toast, and pancakes. The American Benedict is a unique take, featuring a potato cake base topped with a poached egg and a tomato/mushroom sauce.
The potato cakes have a great texture, and the sauce and egg combination is excellent, making for a delicious and unique eggs benedict experience. My personal favorite is their French toast, which I believe is the best in Seattle! While some might find it crunchy, I see that as its greatest strength.
It's designed to be dipped, and after dousing it in syrup and fruit compote, it retains a perfect crunch. I personally dislike soggy French toast, so this makes every bite enjoyable. As for the pancakes, even though I'm not typically a pancake person, these are fantastic – light and fluffy, always topped with fresh fruit, and they truly taste homemade.
The staff have consistently been wonderful during all my visits. Despite ownership changes, the food and service have remained top-notch, solidifying Americana as a go-to for me in Seattle. I definitely recommend it!

Incredible Maple Glazed Pork!
I absolutely recommend this place! My experience was fantastic, especially with the maple glazed pork. It was an incredible dish and, unlike most Seattle meals, it's worth the price.
The service is great as well. They also offer gluten free bread, which is a nice touch.

Good French Toast, Lacking Custard
My experience at the restaurant was pretty good. The French toast was made very well, though I just wish it had a more custard taste. The berries compote on top was DELICIOUS.
The service was excellent, rated 5/5, and the food received a 4/5. The atmosphere was rated 3/5. We had breakfast, and there was no wait time.
Parking was difficult to find, with paid street parking available. The price per person was between $30–50. Vegetarian options were somewhat recommended, with a vegetarian menu or section available.

Separate Checks Issue, Food & Service Okay
When asked if they could provide separate checks for 4 people, the restaurant said yes. However, they ended up just doing the math to calculate the average cost per person, even though we ordered different items. The food was okay, and the service was also okay.
The atmosphere was not great, with moderate noise levels.

Amazing Brunch with Best Hot Chocolate!
My experience at Americana was fantastic, especially considering it was a busy Sunday on Capitol Hill. We were seated immediately for brunch at 1: 30 PM. The service was attentive, pleasant, and fast.
I had the best hot chocolate I’ve ever tasted – rich, flavorful, with a nice hint of cinnamon. The french toast was also a perfect 10/10, made with rustic bread and generously topped with a delicious compote of fresh blueberries and raspberries. I also ordered a side of scrambled eggs, which were way above average.
I highly recommend Americana and will definitely return.

Delicious Brunch with a Fun Twist!
I stopped in for brunch while visiting Capitol Hill and was extremely satisfied with the savoryness of our food choices. I had the special: bacon, avocado and pepper jack omelette, and it was seriously so delicious. My partner had the egg and arugula sandwich, and it was also pretty tasty.
But the jam, OMG, the jam – best ever! The bloody Mary also hit the spot, served with a tasty pickled carrot. It was a 100% satisfying brunch!
I thought it was kind of funny: the music they were playing in the background, every single song was about whiskey or had the word whiskey in it. I was laughing, but could not convince my partner to do whiskey shots at breakfast.

Disappointing Experience at Glo's
We originally wanted to go to Glo's, but due to a two-hour wait at the farmers market, we decided to walk here instead. Unfortunately, our experience was marked by slow service. The coffee cups were consistently empty and the coffee itself was bitter.
The potatoes were undercooked, and the French toast was so crunchy that even syrup couldn't salvage it. Additionally, be aware that they charge for splitting the bill.

Expensive Prices, Outdated Website
My experience at this restaurant was marked by sticker shock. The prices on the website were significantly outdated, with items now costing about $7-10 more per item. This made the overall experience feel very expensive.

Exquisite Brunch Experience!
Returning to Seattle, I had the pleasure of dining here again, just as I did in 2016. The food was exquisite, and this BRUNCH is on fire! I appreciated the right amount of FRESH food and the use of Farm to table ingredients.
It was a truly gift experience for breakfast. I can confidently say this is 100% one of the best brunches I’ve had on tour! The real maple syrup and the combination of chicken sausage / poached eggs were highlights.

Terrible Service and Overpriced
My experience at this restaurant was absolutely terrible. The servers were disrespectful, and the prices were way too high for the quality of what was served. I felt it was overpriced for what you get, and the service was disrespectful.
