I had a good experience at this restaurant. The service was great, and the food was good. I ordered the NY strip steak, which was cooked perfectly and seasoned exactly to my liking. It came with two sides: fried corn and garlic mashed potatoes. Both were excellent and did not disappoint.

My experience at Grille 55 was primarily defined by its unique atmosphere, which felt like dining inside a nightclub, though I'm unsure if it still operates as one. The online photo was a computer-generated rendering, which was amusing. The food was unremarkable; the steak was excessively seasoned and quite salty, not compelling enough for a return visit. The ambience featured hypersexual R&B music and sports on numerous TVs. The service, however, was a significant letdown. Despite an automatic 18% gratuity, the wait staff were observed sitting at the bar on their phones, blowing vape clouds. I had to actively seek out my waitress, who never checked on us and left us waiting at least five minutes for the bill.

My experience at this restaurant was one of the absolute worst I've ever had, comparable only to a police station. My party and I were dressed casually, and we are Black. The treatment we received was appalling, and it was particularly disheartening to be treated this way by someone Black. The waitress, without knowing us, muttered "broke" under her breath. When I inquired about what she said, a white waitress immediately went to the front and called security. I strongly advise Black individuals to avoid this place if they wish to avoid a similar experience. We caused no disturbances and made no noise. I have experienced better treatment in predominantly white areas like North Ridgeville and Sheffield Lake.

I went for dinner last evening and had a wonderful experience. The service was great, with friendly staff. For my meal, I enjoyed the strip steak, and my wife had the perch. All the food was seasoned well.

I visited the South Euclid location on 11/20/25 for my sister's birthday. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely negative as I ended up in the E. R. Later that evening with Food Poisoning. To add to the distress, the food was very overpriced. I would not recommend this location. (God loves the truth). I have no reason to lie.

My experience at the restaurant was absolutely perfect! Chef, you truly outdid yourself. Everything was delicious, and it was a fantastic representation of Akron. The food was outstanding, and the overall experience was top-notch.

My experience at this restaurant was amazing. The food was incredible, with the catfish, yams, and Mac and cheese being particularly outstanding. The service was also top-notch. I would definitely go again!

We came in about 10 minutes after the establishment opened, and the service was amazing from the start! Candace was very attentive to us with our food and drink orders. Everything came out hot and fresh! Definitely will be back! Shout out to Candace!
