Delicious Fried Chicken and Great Service!
We were just walking by and gave this place a shot based on the menu and the high ratings. I am so glad we did! Our servers were prompt and attentive throughout the entire meal.
The menu itself is full of delicious options, built largely around their famous fried chicken. I really enjoyed the fried chicken and waffles and would highly recommend it. The waffles were cooked to perfection and were extremely soft.
The chicken has a wonderful crispiness on the outside and the flavor in the breading is spot on. We also ordered a side of fries and I thought the portion size was reasonable for the price. The food paired really well with our visit to the icebox arcade nearby.

Consistent Favorites and a Minor Wish
I've been coming here for years and the experience has always been consistent. My go-to dishes are the shrimp and grits and the chicken and waffles. While I love the shrimp and grits, I do wish there was some tasso in the sauce to enhance the flavor.

Excellent Food and Service!
My experience at this restaurant was very positive. The food was very good, and the customer service was great. I particularly enjoyed the beer on draft, which was the best I've had in a while.
The gumbo and fried chicken were also excellent. I will definitely return next time I am in town.

Good Local Dive Bar Bites
My experience at this local dive bar was positive. We enjoyed a pulled pork sandwich and Mac n cheese, both of which were good. I would recommend this place for beer and quick bites.

Underrated Seattle Gem with Amazing Flavors
I heard this place was one of Seattle’s underrated spots, so I had to come try out their menu for brunch. Upon walking in, I was quickly greeted, though I was the first customer of the day. The owner, Rodel, came to explain the expansive menu, which features Southern/Creole, Guam, and Hawaii-inspired flavors.
The bar menu is also awesome, with housemade brews (I'm guessing kombucha). We ordered their lumpia, southern combo, chicken & waffles, and gumbo loco. The fried chicken here is phenomenal; even the breast piece was juicy.
Everything was delicious, flavorful, and well-cooked. I definitely want to come back to try the rest of the menu. For dessert, we tried their tiramisu and seasonal bread pudding.
Highly recommend getting both! I’m curious how it is during the summer for their patio space.

Amazing Chef and Great Shareables
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! The amazing chef truly impressed me with their hospitality. It's one of my favorite places to hang out with friends, offering great quality of shareables and side dishes.
The Fried Brussels Sprouts were a standout recommended dish. The atmosphere was rated a 5, service a 5, and food a 5, with a quiet noise level that made conversation easy. The price per person is between $10–20, and it was a lovely lunch experience.

Excellent Gumbo and Fried Chicken Burger
My experience at this restaurant was very positive, offering a slightly fancier atmosphere than what I'm used to from New Orleans, but with exceptionally good gumbo. The bread served alongside it was fantastic. I also tried the fried chicken burger, which was amazing.
It featured a great bun, a welcome change from the usual overly oily brioche. Overall, a highly satisfying meal.
