Terrible Service, Lukewarm Food
My experience was absolutely TERRIBLE. On our last visit, it took forever to get our drink and food orders taken, and the food arrived lukewarm. Tonight, even with the restaurant less than half full, we were seated and ignored for 15 minutes. A server eventually dropped off two waters without a word and left. I'm done trying this place; there are no more chances for them to either not serve us or serve us almost room temperature food.

Delicious Food and Great Atmosphere
My experience at this restaurant was wonderful! The servers were very kind, and they are well-equipped to handle large groups. We enjoyed sitting around the several fire pits on the patio, which offered a nice atmosphere. The restaurant also features a bar and indoor seating. The food was always delicious, and we love coming here.

Phenomenal Service by Alex!
I had a fantastic experience at the Rancho Peñasquitos Knotty Barrel today, and I want to specifically shout out our server, Alex. He was absolutely phenomenal—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming from start to finish. He checked in at all the right times, made great recommendations, and made sure everything was perfect without ever feeling intrusive. It’s rare to get service that feels both professional and personal, and Alex nailed it. He truly elevated the entire experience. I’ll definitely be back and hope to have him as my server again.

Great Spot for Food and Drinks
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! The place is cute, and the staff were super friendly. I was impressed with the good variety of food and the extensive drink choices, ranging from beer to cocktails to wine. It's also a great spot if you're interested in watching sports, as they have plenty of TVs.

Sunday Brunch Audio Nightmare
The food is good, but my experience at KB on a Sunday for Brunch was terrible. I wanted to watch my favorite football team play, but the bartender would only allow one monitor to blare someone else's game while my screen was quiet 🤬. It's not impossible to accommodate viewers; they should consider using Bluetooth technology so patrons with earbuds can hear their game's audio. 🤔

Amazing Carnitas Sandwich and Papas Bravas!
While on a weekend getaway, my girlfriend and I stumbled across this place and man are we glad we did. We started with the Papas Bravas appetizer, which was amazing. You could tell that it was more than just a "potato" dish; this thing is well-crafted, coming through as one of the most complete bites we've ever had in an appetizer. It was rich, creamy, sweet, salty, and just a touch of heat! We then decided to split the carnitas sandwich with a side of the Cajun style fries. The fries were definitely tasty, but they didn't hold a candle to the sandwich. We were again surprised with a very well-composed experience. We will definitely be back when visiting San Diego.

Disappointing Service Over TV Choice
My husband and I visited this restaurant/bar last Friday night. The establishment has numerous TVs, with two showing the same football game. I requested if one of the TVs could be changed to show tennis, but a gentleman, whom I assumed was the manager, denied my request. Despite the abundance of TVs displaying football and baseball, none could accommodate a tennis broadcast. This experience was perceived as rude, and I will not be returning to this place.

Great Food and Service on the Patio
My experience at this American restaurant and sports bar was quite enjoyable. The open patio area was a nice touch, and it's welcoming for families, pets, and happy hours. I was particularly impressed with the food. The papas bravas were a great dish, with the Yukon potatoes maintaining a good temperature and a crisp skin. They were complemented by a refreshing yogurt sauce with pickled onions/peppers, cheese, and cilantro. The sausage trio, featuring andouille, kielbasa, and apple gouda sausages on skewers, was also a hit. Three sauces accompanied the sausages with some grilled sourdough slices. For me, the beer mustard did the best job of cutting through the richness/saltiness of the sausages with its bright, acidic flavor. The bar offered a decent selection of drinks/cocktails, and the bottle of 2023 Josh Cabernet was nice with the appetizers. The service from Chelsea was also very nice this evening! Overall, a positive experience with good food and service.

Terrific Life Celebration Experience!
We attended a life celebration here weeks ago, and it was terrific, in spite of the occasion. The servers were terrific, the food was great and served hot and continuous, and the drinks were fabulous! It's also definitely dog friendly, with numerous pooches quietly lazing around the patio. The atmosphere is very fun and upbeat, and there's plenty of parking in the free parking lot. The price per person is $10–20, and we experienced no wait time.

A Favorite Spot with Great Food and Atmosphere
This restaurant has always been a favorite of mine. The atmosphere is fun and the food is delicious. The staff are always very attentive and friendly. I love sitting outdoors near the fire pits. The bar area has several TVs for you to be able to watch sports.
