Zappy Pizza - Reviews

My experience at Zappos pizza was fantastic! I ordered two pizzas, one cheese and one pepperoni, both with extra sauce. The explosion in my mouth that is Zappos pizza was more than I expected! I give it a 10/10 and highly recommend it. The staff was also very friendly, and I want to thank them so much!

On Wednesday, November 12th, my experience at this restaurant was marred by the incredibly rude closing staff who answered the phones around 8 pm. I was shocked that people working in customer service would behave this way. The female staff member hung up on me the first time I called. When I called back, the gentleman who answered was equally rude and hung up on me as well. All I wanted to do was add a ranch, for which I was charged, but it was never added to my order.

My experience was centered around the amazing pizza 🍕 I had. The price was also great, and the staff was always nice. It's important to note that this is a to-go only establishment, as they do not have any tables or seating for dining in.

My experience was mostly positive, with great pizza being the highlight. However, the size of the large pizza was disappointing, essentially being a medium. Despite this, I'd like to acknowledge the great work being done. The service and atmosphere were rated a perfect 5, and the food also received a 5-star rating.

As construction workers, we were looking for something tasty to eat, and a friend recommended we visit this pizzeria. We were nearby, so we went and ordered two pizzas: one pepperoni and one Hawaiian. We expected it to take a while and thought for the price, it might be similar to the super thin pizzas from Little Caesars, but we were hungry 😋. To our surprise, they told us it would be ready in 5 to 10 minutes max! We were even more surprised when we opened them to eat – they looked so delicious, generously topped, tasted great, and were perfectly cooked. Really good! We'll be back and recommend it. The cashiers were very friendly, and everyone was attentive. The place was perfect 💯.

My experience at Zappys was fantastic! The pizza is always delicious, made with fresh ingredients. I also appreciated the good prices and the cool staff. It's a San Diego must try for sure. I love Zappys!

My experience at this restaurant was extremely disappointing, particularly with the pizza. I found the pizza to be the worst pizza ever, described as messy, sloppy, and greasy. It felt like they added oil directly to the pizza. This was my last time getting pizza here. To see for yourself, just look at the picture.

A coworker and my wife's coworker recommended this place, so I decided to visit right when it opened. The customer service was a 10/10, and the atmosphere was nice and clean. I ordered the chorizo pizza and added sausage for a couple of dollars more. The pizza was made to perfection, with the perfect amount of sauce, cheese, and toppings. I would definitely come back to try different pizzas.

I'm not sure of the name of this particular pizza, but it features cheese and mushrooms on top, with the sauce and pepperoni layered underneath. This unique preparation was incredibly good. The sauce had a tangy and zesty flavor, enhanced by the richness of the pepperoni. I appreciated that the sauce didn't dry out and the flavor remained vibrant; I love this change! I truly hope this preparation is consistent, as it's the sole reason I'm writing this review. In past experiences, I often found their pizzas lacked a distinct tomato sauce flavor because it was too dry, as if only lightly brushed on the dough, leaving only the taste of cheese. Honestly, for its price, this pizza can rival those from Costco and Sam's Club.

My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! It's truly an underrated spot for pizza. The pizza itself was so good, and I found it to be way better than major pizza places. I highly recommend it.
