My experience at burekasbox was fantastic! I tried their burekas and they were the best I’ve ever had – so tasty, crispy, and light! 🥐✨ I loved how they put together a box full of delicious goodies, which was perfect for a picnic. I took it with me to Coronado @explorecoronado and received so many questions about it! I enjoyed every bite with great music and an amazing morning vibe.

The atmosphere and service were both rated a perfect 5, and the food also received a 5. We appreciated the large vegetarian selection and the convenience of a free parking lot with plenty of parking. The wait time was no wait, and the price per person was between $10–20. They also cater to Kosher and dairy dietary restrictions.

The service was a perfect 5, and the food also received a 5. The menu is entirely vegetarian, and it's highly recommended for vegetarians. We visited for lunch as a group of 3-4 people, and the price per person was $50–100.

I tried one of each variety and found them all to be so tasty. I'm already looking forward to ordering the dessert bureka! The presentation was also excellent, with accompaniments like olives, pickles, sauces, and hard-boiled eggs, making everything so yummy. I highly recommend them!

My first takeout order from Burekas Box San Diego was for the Caramelized Onions and Mushrooms and the Golden Potato burekas. Wow! They were delicious! I can compare them to fresh-made burekas from various parts of the world, including Paris, Tel Aviv, and New York City. Burekas Box San Diego is truly among the best. Congrats to the chef and the kitchen crew!

I don't usually leave reviews, but Burekas Box totally deserves it. I’ve never had anything like this in San Diego—Israeli-style burekas made fresh, and they are unreal. The pastry is flaky and buttery, stuffed with delicious fillings like cheese and even chocolate. It’s like a next-level savory pastry. I went to one of their pop-ups and was really impressed. The line moved quickly, and the customer service was awesome—everyone was super friendly and helpful. You can also order online, which is a great option! This isn’t your typical food truck. They include all these little sides—pickles, olives, tomato, egg, spicy sauce—so it feels like you’re getting a full meal in a box. Everything is super fresh and full of flavor. This is something really unique and I 100% recommend.
