If you're thinking about trying this cafe, this is your sign. I tried the fig toast, which featured prosciutto, goat cheese, avocado, and balsamic. The avocado was fresh, the bread was nicely toasted, the goat cheese was delicious, the balsamic was sweet, and the prosciutto was thinly cut so it wasn't difficult to eat. Overall, delicious food, worth the price in my opinion. Would come here again to support a small business.

The prices were also very reasonable. I enjoyed the nice seating and the pleasant music playing, contributing to a great atmosphere. The service was notably quick. My experience at Elmisa Cafe Rancho Bernardo was largely positive, offering a quaint spot with a varied and appealing breakfast menu. The kitchen is constantly moving, and the service is friendly with staff who are knowledgeable about the offerings. I enjoyed the Power Bowl, which was generously filled with walnuts, bananas, strawberries, coconut, dates, and a creamy almond butter. The Elmisa (Avocado Toast) was also nice, served on a crisp slice of sourdough bread with remarkably fresh and bright sliced cucumbers, tomatoes, and feta cheese. While delicious, I personally felt the dish would be elevated with a soft over-easy or poached egg instead of sliced boiled eggs, due to the cafe lacking a griddle. Comfortable indoor and outdoor seating is available. However, the experience was tempered by the narrow parking lot and busy intersection, which created some frustration. Be careful driving to/from the location during peak hours. Overall, a nice breakfast spot with lots of promise.

My experience at this restaurant was absolutely wonderful! I love that they offer so many healthy food options, and the atmosphere is incredibly cute with such lovely service. My personal favorite is the MEDI toast. I also really enjoy their healthy MCT oil and collagen drinks, especially the MCT oil matcha with almond milk.

My experience at this restaurant was fantastic, especially for breakfast. The breakfast and coffee options were "on point" with "so many choices. " I haven't been disappointed at all. The staff and cleanliness were also great. I will definitely be back!

We stumbled upon this delightful cafe while on a road trip, needing a quick coffee and light breakfast. Initially, we didn't expect much, just a decent cup of warm coffee to keep us going. However, we were pleasantly surprised by how adorable the cafe is, offering clean, nice, and very cozy vibes. They have a great selection of beverages, breakfast, and brunch menu. We were happy to find healthy breakfast and tasty coffee. Elmisa Cafe is a local family business conveniently located near the 15 freeway, with ample parking, and both indoor and outdoor seating. A unique feature is the free book corner where you can take or donate books. The cafe offers many great cafe food and drink options, and they even make all their own sauces and spreads, making it a fantastic neighborhood gem. We will definitely visit again when in the area to try more menu items and hope they thrive for a long time.

This was my second visit to this restaurant, and it’s one of my favorites. My husband ordered the roast beef sandwich again because it was so good. I tried the Hampeno sandwich, which has jalapeños. As someone who loves spicy food, I was very satisfied with the combination of ham, avocado, tomato, cheddar cheese, jalapeños, and crispy bread. The only downside was that the soup that came with my husband’s roast beef sandwich was a bit too salty; it was perfectly seasoned last time, which was a little disappointing.
