Marnee Thai: Inconsistent Food, Great Service
I always had a great experience at Marnee Thai, but this time the food seemed too salty or bland, just not the same. I always have the same dishes: a tom yum soup and wok-prepared chicken with rice. The shrimp in the soup were great, as was the service. I felt very welcome, but the food was disappointing. It could be a fluke because it's always been great before. Finally, the prices seemed to have increased about 15 to 20%.

My experience at this old school restaurant in SF was a trip down memory lane. I remember eating here 20+ years ago, and it looks the same, remaining clean and tidy. Parking is typically difficult, as expected on Irving St. The food was delicious and spicy.
