San Diego is nicer, but expensive
My experience here in Detroit is that the only thing I don't miss is the grey, overcast, cold, icy 9 months of winter. We only get about 3 good warm months: June, July, and August. Once September arrives, it's like clockwork; temperatures start dropping and don't warm up until the end of May.
I would rather be in San Diego, which is much nicer, but it's way too expensive to live in California.
