My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! I had the most delicious ramen I've ever tasted in San Diego. What was particularly great was that there was no wait time, so we were served immediately. The staff member, YILEI, was incredibly nice, sweet, and very attentive, providing excellent service throughout our meal.

My husband and I have been dining at Isshido for over three years, and each visit is a delight. The staff are incredibly friendly and sociable, contributing to a wonderful atmosphere. The food is consistently above and beyond, with clear love and care put into every dish. We will definitely continue to return for more.

My experience at this restaurant was mixed. The food quality was average overall, though the ramen was good. The place itself is very nice, with a clean and neat bar and counter area, contributing to a pleasant atmosphere. However, there was a significant issue with the one-time chopsticks provided; they couldn't control the quality, and I received a fungus/rotten chopstick in a sealed bag. This was a major drawback.

My wife loves coming here for their curry, and it never disappoints. My daughter always orders their tonkatsu ramen with yellow chewy noodles. I normally get the black mayo ramen, but this time around I decided to get the squid karage curry, and that was delicious as well. The one thing that always brings us back is the excellent customer service from our waitress. She is usually the only one taking everyone's order, but still manages to be so personable and polite. This time around she kept refilling our tea with hot water just so it didn't get cold from the AC. One thing especially I like here is that she doesn't allow you to pack your leftovers, but she does it herself, just so it's perfectly placed in your To-Go container. That extra added touch of customer service is why we are regulars here. When you do the small stuff to take care of your customers, it goes a long way with us.

My experience at the restaurant was solid! I had the Teriyaki Salmon Bento and three different ramen bowls. All of them were solid, and the black garlic ramen, described as 'ying yang, ' was a super nice touch. The presentation was also solid.

This was my first visit to the restaurant, and I had been walking past it for a long time. My experience was very positive. The food was served quickly, and I enjoyed eating inside. I ordered the Chicken Paitan with add-ons of kimchi, kale, and garlic mushrooms. It was absolutely delicious 👌🏾.

My experience at this restaurant was absolutely fantastic. It's easily my favorite ramen spot, and in my opinion, it's even better than Menya Ultra! The food is incredible, and it's also more affordable without sacrificing any quality. Every broth I've tried has been rich, flavorful, and deeply satisfying. My go-to order is the Ultimate Chashu Ramen with a large container of their house kimchi. The chashu is sliced perfectly—not too thick, super tender, and packed with flavor. I love dipping the kimchi into the ramen broth for an extra kick. It’s usually fermented just right, with a perfect balance of tang and spice. They offer a variety of noodle types, which really lets you customize your bowl. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, the service is quick, and the space is clean and cozy. Everything feels fresh and thoughtfully prepared. Highly recommend for any ramen lover—you’ll get amazing quality without the high price tag! :)

My experience at this restaurant was incredible! They offer a vast selection of Ramen options, each with a delicious and unique flavor. I've tried almost every kind and have loved each one for different reasons. Even if Ramen isn't typically your preference, this place might change your mind! They also have many other great options, with the rice bowls being particularly delicious. The Teriyaki Chicken Bowl and the Pork Chashu Bowl are definite favorites, offering wonderful flavor.

I prefer this place over Menya honestly because their chili oil is too die for. If it came packaged, I’d buy a pallet ASAP.

My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! I found the best ramen in San Diego by far. I always order the ishiddo truffle, and I love that I can substitute pork for tofu teriyaki with delicious, juicy, and tasty mushrooms. It's definitely my favorite. We also tried the garlic mayu tonkotsu, which has an earthy, hearty base with deliciously light and crispy pork. The service was excellent, and I highly recommend this place if you are a ramen lover 🍜.
