Disappointing Smash Burger Experience
Yikes. I was very disappointed with my experience at this restaurant, especially based on the reviews. The smash burger was the worst I've ever had.
It was made with fake sliced cheese and the meat was undercooked, which is very strange for a smash burger. I asked for the meat to be cooked more, but it was still pink. It was a very weird experience.

Unique Hot Dogs and Great Patio
My experience at this restaurant featured what might be the most ornate hot dog I’ve ever had, and it was great. The restaurant is conveniently located connected to The Church by Lost Abbey, making it a perfect spot to grab a beer from Lost Abbey with your hot dog. I tried the SdFoodie dog, which came with fried onions and bacon jam, topped with cream cheese.
Despite sounding rich, it tasted surprisingly balanced and I would definitely recommend it. I'm also keen to try one of the Sonora dogs on my next visit. Ordering is a modern process, done through a kiosk, and they text you when your order is ready.
The patio is nice, but my main issue was the complete lack of background music. Even with a fair number of people, the silence made the atmosphere feel a bit awkward. Adding some background music would significantly improve the experience.

Great cheap eats and dog-friendly!
This is a great place to grab a hotdog for before a game or if you are looking for something cheap and delicious. It's also dog friendly with a brewery next door!

Delicious Carnitas Dog and Churros!
My experience at the restaurant was fantastic! I had the carnitas dog and it was absolutely delicious. Following that, I tried the churros, and oh my gosh, they were so good.
The food quality was excellent, and the overall experience was highly positive.

Good Food, Needs Service Polish
My experience at this restaurant was a mixed bag. The ordering process through the website was a bit complicated and could be improved, even though I understand it's designed for quick ordering. The outdoor patio is nice, but the tables and the drink station could use a bit more cleaning.
Unfortunately, none of the drinks worked. If it weren't for the food being very good, my rating would have been lower.

Disappointing Experience with Order and Pricing
My experience at this restaurant was quite disappointing. They didn't have most of the advertised flavors, and the advertised pricing was significantly off. I was charged $16 for a meal that was quoted at $12.
To make matters worse, my order was messed up; I ordered BBQ wings and received Buffalo wings. When I brought this to their attention, they simply poured some BBQ sauce on top and returned the same wings, still missing one wing. I did hear that the burger was good, though.

Mixed Experience with Food and Atmosphere
My experience at this restaurant was a mixed bag. The food was okay; the fries were good when fresh, but quickly became gross if they sat. The hot dogs were inconsistent, sometimes tasting very good and other times like they were reheated.
Ordering via QR code was inconvenient, especially on a sunny day when phone screens are hard to see and the code doesn't always read. I would have preferred to interact with an actual person. The soda area was also a point of concern; while you can get unlimited soda, the area needs tidying, and there were many flies and mosquitoes.
The presence of dirt and sand everywhere suggests wearing shoes you don't mind getting dirty. The adjacent brewery shares the same fly and mosquito issue. For drinks, the cider selection was limited, though they had plenty of IPAs.

Great Dogs at Lost Abbey
My experience at this restaurant was a great combination of fun and casual food. The dogs were great and located on the same property as Lost Abbey brewing. The food quality, service, and atmosphere were all rated a perfect 5 out of 5.

Soggy Food, Non-Existent Service
My experience at this restaurant was quite disappointing. The food was generally meh, with items that should have been crispy, like the fries and toasted bun, unfortunately turning out soggy. Despite the saltiness, the overall flavor was lacking.
The atmosphere was just okay, resembling a dirt-track dog park with benches. The service was practically non-existent as everything is automated: ordering via QR code, picking up food from a window, and self-service for utensils and napkins. It felt like all the downsides of a mediocre food truck.
The only saving grace was the good beer available next door at the Lost Abbey. I would not return.

Birria Hot Dog Mixed Feelings
My experience involved trying the birria hot dog. While the hot dog itself was good, the birria was unfortunately bland and dry. My boyfriend enjoyed his chicken brawt, noting its good flavor.
We found the prices to be a bit high for hot dogs.
