Machines are a hassle, not worth it
My experience at the restaurant was frustrating due to the ordering machines. They are a hassle to use, and it really takes away the desire to return. These machines feel more like paperwork for work than a way to order food.

Disappointing Extra Veggies and Protein
I always come here and order from the kiosk because they tell you to. They tell you not to order at the counter anymore. So I do, and I always ask for extra veggies and extra protein, and I pay for it.
But when they make my sandwich, it's all small, and they don't put the extra items, even though I paid for them. This has happened 3 times already, which is a big disappointment.

Disappointing Order and Rude Service
I was very disappointed with my experience. I ordered the chicken bacon 6-inch combo online, but they got the order all wrong. To make matters worse, the person at the counter was very rude.

Late Night Service Issues
My first time in San Diego, I arrived at 12: 40 AM, which is quite late, but the restaurant is advertised as OPEN 24hrs. Despite this, I was denied service. I was told I could only place an order on the kiosk, and then there would be an HOUR wait.
This is not what I expected for service. It seems the staffing needs to be addressed at this location, as one person cannot manage both mobile and in-person orders. Unfortunately, my experience was a 0.

Disappointing Subway Experience
My experience at this restaurant was quite different from other Subway locations. The ordering process is entirely done through a kiosk, and there's only one sandwich maker. This setup is unfortunate when you expect the usual Subway experience.
Additionally, one of the workers seemed erratic, which also raises safety concerns for the area. I hope they can improve the setup and staffing. This feedback is not directed at the individual worker but rather the overall system and staffing.

Manager Karla's Clean Store & Fresh Food
My experience at the restaurant was wonderful, largely thanks to Manager Karla. She is super nice and pretty, and she always keeps the store really clean. The veggies are always fresh, and the bread is super delicious and soft 💯🙌🏽.

Friendly crew, great vibes!
My experience at the restaurant was great! I accidentally dropped my sandwich, but the crew was so friendly and immediately made me a new one. The vibes were also excellent.

Exceptional Service at Subway!
I stopped by Subway today for a quick bite and had an outstanding experience. The food was on point, but the service truly stood out, thanks to Robert behind the counter. From the moment I walked in, Robert greeted me with a smile and a genuinely positive attitude.
He was attentive, offering great suggestions for my sandwich (his pro tip: toasted Italian Herbs & Cheese with chipotle sauce is chef's kiss). He ensured everything was exactly to my liking, working quickly and friendly even during the lunchtime rush, maintaining his upbeat energy. The sandwich itself was fresh, perfectly stacked, and looked just like the photos, which is a rare find these days.
It's service like this that makes me want to return. If you visit this Subway, I hope you catch Robert on shift; he elevates the fast-food experience.

No Wraps, Just Flatbread
My experience at Subway was disappointing because they no longer offer wraps made with tortillas. Instead, they only use flatbread. If I wanted bread, I would have ordered a sandwich.
It appears the only place I could buy wraps are at hospitals, smh.

Disappointing Experience with Order and Service
I am very disappointed because I told the guy to toast my sandwiches and he didn't do it. I had to heat it up in my home microwave. Also, I had ordered a spicy nacho chicken sandwich and he gave me a roast beef with nacho sandwich covered in all types of sauces that were very salty.
He also told us to use the screen to order instead of being polite and take our order and input the order himself.
