Amazing Food, Friendly Owner, Great Prices!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! I had the Philly on a roll, which was amazing. The owner was super friendly, and the atmosphere was lowkey.
Plus, the prices were great!

Amazing Custom Sandwich with a Service Hiccup
My experience ordering a custom-made sandwich was amazing! The woman chef is amazing. Although they initially forgot the cheese when I ordered by phone, they quickly re-made it for me.
I was able to give the sandwich I didn’t eat to a homeless lady on the complex.

Fantastic Deli Sandwiches, Worth the Wait!
My experience at this restaurant was largely positive, centered around their fantastic deli sandwiches. The menu is extensive, offering a large menu to choose from. I was particularly impressed by the economical pricing.
My first time trying an Italian sandwich outside of Indiana, and it was a delightful surprise, especially with the addition of Cole Slaw. We will definitely be back! While the service was a little slow, the quality of food truly made up for the wait.

Best Philly Cheesesteak in SD!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic, especially for an East Coaster looking for an authentic taste of home. The Philly Cheesesteak was the best I've had in San Diego. The bread was incredibly soft, and the entire meal truly hit the spot.
The food quality was excellent, and the atmosphere was also a highlight, rated at a 5. Service was also top-notch, receiving a 5-star rating, and there was no wait time.

Empty restaurant, no service
I went inside to check out this highly recommended place for the first time, as a good friend has been raving about it and I absolutely love Philly cheesesteak. Upon entering, the restaurant was empty, and there was no one at the register. I waited a few minutes, looked at the menu, but still, no one came.
I figured they might be busy in the back, so I left after about 5 minutes. I will come back another day when they are not so busy.

Great Service, Sandwiches, and Vibes!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! I enjoyed the great service, great sandwiches, and great vibes. They offer a large craft soda selection, and I appreciate the option to choose between a small or large sandwich size, which is perfect for days when I'm hungrier than others.

Evan's Deli: More Than Just Sandwiches
My experience at Evan’s Deli & Brew was exceptional, truly like the "Cheers" of sandwich shops. Evan, the owner, is the real hero here. He remembers your order after just one visit, making you feel like part of the family by your third.
The sandwiches are outrageously good, making you question past choices. The brews are cold, crisp, and perfectly chosen, complementing Evan’s sense of humor. Beyond the killer menu and cozy vibe, it's Evan himself who shines – friendly, funny, and fast, offering big-city service with small-town heart.
He's passionate and efficient, ensuring a great experience. I highly recommend the cheesesteak with provolone and the garlic fries, which are better than Gaglione Bros. Evan, you rock!

Awesome Sandwiches, Lacking Vibe
I recently moved and was searching for a great place to get sandwiches, and I found it here! I've returned a few times and tried various sandwiches, all of which have been awesome. The garlic fries are also delish.
What consistently stands out are the people who own and run the place; they are all so kind, friendly, and engaging. The atmosphere is very simple and, to me, boring. If atmosphere doesn't matter to you, this place is perfect!
Personally, I prefer some kind of vibe, and this place didn't have any. Hopefully, they will change that soon!

Authentic Philly Cheesesteak Experience!
My first time here was a great experience! I tried the Whiz Steak and the Italian, and both were really good. The toast on the Whiz Steak was exceptional, reminding me of Philly, and the Amoroso bread used for both sandwiches is a definite must-have.
Although I wished I could have had it with a beer, it was a good experience overall. The owner was nice and served us quickly and politely. The ambience was perfect for the type of food served.
I will definitely be going back.
