Expensive and Basic Thai Meal
My experience at the restaurant was centered around a rather basic meal. The food consisted of just boiled chicken, rice, and Thai sauce. While the food was okay, I found it to be a bit expensive for what was offered.

Healthy and Tasty Lunch Option
My experience at the restaurant was very positive, especially for lunch. I enjoyed a very healthy lunch that was also tasty. The “riceless” option was perfect for meeting my dietary goals, providing a good amount of vegetables and protein.
The chicken was tender and moist, and I appreciated that the sauce was served on the side. The broccoli was fresh and steamed without any added butter or oil. The portion size was good, making it a satisfying meal.

First Visit: Promising Food, Room for Improvement
I discovered the Financial District location in San Francisco after a successful job interview, and was pleasantly surprised to learn it's a franchise chain with a Santa Clara location near my condo. The restaurant was conveniently located next to a FedExp, offering WiFi. Upon entering, I asked the young lady for a recommendation, and she suggested the #1 dish: steamed chicken breast on rice with cucumber and broth. I also ordered a Mexican coke regular after she inquired about my preference for diet.
I'm looking forward to trying the Kha Soi once I secure the job offer, which I hope will allow me to provide a more comprehensive review on consistency.

Disappointing Lunch Experience
My experience at this restaurant was disappointing, especially if you're traveling and looking for a good meal. The chicken was dry and bland, and the sauce was nothing special. I would not recommend wasting your time or money here.

Popular Spot with Good Food and Speed
I stopped in for lunch and found it to be a popular spot, serving a lot of lunch crowds. They offer both to-go and sit-down options, and I was impressed with the good speed of service. The food was good as well.

Shrinkflation and Disappointment
My recent experience at this restaurant was a significant downgrade from my previous visits. I haven't been here since the pandemic, and while it was pricey back then, the portions were huge. Now, the exact same dish, "the classic, " is drastically different.
I received a tiny layer of meat with some uncooked cucumber, a huge disappointment compared to a few years ago. Even the signature sauce seemed less punchy. For $18.
70, plus all the "bullshit fees, " I expected much more. The interior was just okay, with very uncomfortable chairs that made me feel discouraged from staying longer. Suffice it to say, I'm not planning to come back.
Edit: After finishing the meal and still being hungry, I noticed the bottom of the dish was visibly padded to make the portion look fuller. Lmao.

Delicious Hainanese Chicken, Tricky Parking
My experience involved trying the Thai poached boiled Hainanese Singaporean style chicken, which was served with a delicious sauce. The dish, priced at around $18 for their #1 combo, included rice, cucumbers, and a broth soup. Parking was a bit of a challenge; we managed to park on a yellow curb for 15 minutes without a ticket, but it's best to order ahead and just pick up to minimize parking time.

Fantastic Hainan Chicken Rice!
I had an Uber for their Hainanese Chicken Rice, which was fantastic! I absolutely loved it; it's a really authentic one. You can also change to all thighs, which is even better!

Decent Hainan Chicken, Riceless Option is Great
My experience at the restaurant involved trying their Hainan chicken rice, with a specific focus on the "riceless" option. I ordered three Hainan chicken rices – two "riceless" and one "original". The chicken in the Hainan rice was definitely decent, of solid quality.
The portion sizes were generous, which is always a plus. However, the rice itself was just okay, nothing special, and the chicken soup was pretty bland. We thought the "riceless" option was the better deal; they load you up with extra broccoli to replace the rice, which is fantastic if you're looking for more fiber and vegetables.
As for the chicken spring rolls, the chicken inside was overcooked and dry. Definitely a miss.
