Best Coffee and Great Service!
My experience at this restaurant has been consistently excellent, especially for coffee. It's my go-to place for specialty coffee, and I visit almost every weekend. The service is also great (: .

Surprise charges for extras
I visited the Mental Health Coffee Shop for a simple tea with ice and honey. To my surprise, when I paid the bill, I was charged an extra $0. 50 for ice and another $0.
50 for two pumps of honey. I was never informed about these additional costs beforehand. Had I known, I likely would have opted out of these add-ons.
This experience left me feeling like there were hidden charges for basic additions to a normal drink. If you plan to visit, it's advisable to double-check the cost of any "extras. "

Great spot, but coffee wait time
This is one of the best coffee shops in the neighborhood. It's a great place for people looking to meet up or work on their computers. The coffee was okay, but the wait time of 15 minutes was a bit long.

Best Chai Tea Latte and Fresh Food!
My experience at this restaurant was wonderful. They serve the best Chai Tea Latte in town, and the food is great and fresh. The atmosphere is very peaceful.
While the service can sometimes be a little slow during busy periods, the quality in the food and the love in every cup make it worthwhile. I highly recommend this place!

Delightful Coffee and Sandwich Experience
Loved this place 🫶🏼! I can tell a lot of effort and intentionality was involved in the planning and execution. You can feel the sense of community and care the moment you arrive outside.
While parking is along the street, they have some spaces saved for quick trips and you can easily find places along the curb elsewhere. I stopped in quickly for a coffee and breakfast sandwich on my way to run errands. I had the breakfast turkey sausage croissant 🥐 sandwich with no cheese and an iced Mexican Mocha with oat milk, both were delish and extra special sitting in the swing chair looking out at San Diego.
There was even an outlet and way to charge my devices on the little table next to me. The drinks and food are made with care. The staff are attentive and you can tell they actually seem to get along and like one another, which always leads to great service!
I’ll probably be back tomorrow 😊 and definitely have it bookmarked to visit again when I’m in town next month. ☕ I’ll be sharing more from this visit on my travel & foodie reels at @flightsandbites8 (TikTok) and @flightsandbitesbrand (IG)!

Delightful Spot for a Relaxing Break
My experience at this restaurant was delightful. The menu, though simple, was well done. The two people working, likely the owners, were incredibly helpful and friendly, creating a nice place to unwind.
The coffee was great, and the iced tea was even better. I particularly enjoyed the delicious and healthy wrap. I will definitely be a regular here.

Amazing Lattes and Food!
My experience at this restaurant was absolutely superb! I had the best lattes I've ever tasted, including the Lavender Latte and the Brown Sugar Latte (both hot and iced). The Blueberry Lavender lemonade was also incredibly tasty and refreshing.
For food, I enjoyed the English muffin sandwiches and a breakfast burrito, both of which were delicious. The staff is incredible, and the vibes are chill, yet fun. Overall, it's an amazing place, and I'm thrilled I found this gem!

Cozy Spot with Delicious Favorites
I visit the Mental Bar weekly to catch up with friends. My go-to favorites include their BLT sandwich, the green salad with turkey, and the turkey sandwich. It's a small, intimate shop with a friendly atmosphere.
We enjoy sitting outdoors, either in the front or on the enclosed patio when the weather is nice. This is a family-owned business.

Excellent Local Coffee Shop Experience
My experience at this local coffee shop in the southern San Diego area was very positive. I tried their summer drink, the peach frappe, which was very nice and tasteable, even without coffee. The customer service was immaculate, with staff taking their time to craft each drink to perfection.
It's a nice family-run business and very cost-effective.
