Fantastic Pinsas and Lively Atmosphere
My experience at Montesacro Pinseria was fantastic! The pinsas, which are Roman-style pizzas, were incredibly light, crispy, and bursting with flavor. I also enjoyed the small plates, which were perfect for sharing. The toppings were consistently fresh and creative. The atmosphere was casual and lively, making it a great spot for a relaxed night out with friends.

Authentic Pinsa Perfection!
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! This pinsa is authentic, reminding me of a place I lived near in Rome. The crust is absolute perfection. 🤌 I definitely recommend making a reservation on weekends.

Amazing Food and Establishment
My experience at this restaurant was truly amazing. I've been here many times, and the pizza is always to die for. The Gorgonzola salad is also one of the best salads I have ever had. It's an amazing establishment overall.

A Wonderful Italian Gem!
As an Italian, finding this pinsa place after two weeks of American food was a wonderful flash! The pinsa was delicious, and the place, though small, is cozy! Congratulations!

Authentic Roman Pizza Experience
My experience at Montesacro SoMa was fantastic! I visited with a friend for dinner after several recommendations, and the cozy and gorgeous space immediately struck me. The staff were relaxed yet attentive, and the partially visible kitchen added to the charm. The walls of wine bottles, chandeliers, and deli counter truly made me feel like I was back in Rome. We started with the Sottoli, a plate of beautifully marinated vegetables (red bell peppers, sun-dried tomatoes, and eggplant) with a hint of chili and parsley. I loved the simplicity and flavor of this antipasti; the veggies were delicious on their own and a great vegetarian/gluten-free option. They were also wonderful with the main event: the pizza. We tried the Margherita pizza, which was 10/10. The tomato sauce was flavorful, perfectly balancing herbaceous, savory, acidic, and sweet notes, topped with a generous portion of melty mozzarella and basil. Montesacro SoMa leans into its Roman identity by serving the more ovular pinsa, featuring a slightly thicker, chewier crust and highlighting local Roman ingredients. I can't wait to return and explore their other options!

Exceptional Italian Spot!
Wow! I've often walked past this place and seen people eating at the sidewalk tables. A friend suggested we have lunch there today and what a surprise! The pizza special was delicious. It's a cool spot, almost feels like you're in Italy. And the service is exceptional -- as good as you'll get in any restaurant. I look forward to going back.

Good food and service, but cleanliness concerns
My experience at the restaurant was a mixed bag. The food and service were top-notch, receiving a perfect score. The prices were also considered reasonable. However, the ambience, while described as rustic, could have been cleaner. The surrounding neighborhood, filled with homeless individuals, made me feel uneasy about walking alone, though this is not the restaurant's fault.

Delicious Pinsa in a Lively Setting
We found this pinsa place near our accommodation and it was a wonderful experience. We booked without any issues using an app, likely OpenTable. We were welcomed very cordially and were allowed to choose between two tables. The ambiance was lovely, with a diverse and cheerful crowd. The bar-like counter behind our table added to the pleasant atmosphere. A special mention goes to the pinsas, which were truly delicious. I believe the credit goes to both the chefs and the skillful selection of ingredients. The only negative note is the area where the pinsa place is located, which is frequented by homeless people and addicts; this is evidently not the fault of the pinsa place itself.

Roman Pinsa Attempt with Mixed Results
My experience at this restaurant this past Saturday was a mixed bag. While the neighborhood felt a bit sketchy, the presence of normal patrons was reassuring. They made a nice attempt at a Roman pinsa; the crust had good flavor and texture, though it was a little too thick for a true pinsa based on my experience in Italy. Unfortunately, the mozzarella was low moisture, not fresh, and there was too much of it. If you're in Rome, I'd recommend checking out Pinsallegra on Via Nazionale, a take-out place with 6-8 euro options.

Charming 1930s-40s Restaurant with Great Food
What a beautiful restaurant! The decor is absolutely fabulous, transporting you to the 1930s and 40s. In this vintage atmosphere, you can enjoy pizzas of all varieties, pasta, and other small dishes. The service was very good, and I highly recommend booking in advance as the restaurant is always full.
