I visited with 5 guests and we were initially told we could sit if space was available. After finding seats, we were asked to move, then rudely told to move multiple times. A server eventually became aggressive with us. We spoke with Rachel, the GM, but ultimately left as we no longer felt comfortable due to the aggressive behavior.

My experience at this restaurant was truly great. The ambiance is unique and not comparable to other places in SF, creating a cozy and dim atmosphere that makes it a great date spot. The cocktails were well done, and the menu was great. I enjoyed the sliders and a couple of other dishes, leaving no crumbs behind. I highly recommend this place, and the owner is cool too!

My experience at this restaurant involved enjoying decent drinks and friendly service. However, it was extremely crowded and loud on a Saturday night. The crowd seemed to be mostly 20-30 somethings on dates. It's advisable to reserve in advance for a table. It's worth a visit, but not a destination.

I was looking for the perfect spot for a nightcap (or two) while visiting from Toronto for work, and Left Door delivered exactly the vibe I was looking for! The bartender was lovely and accommodating, and they served great cocktails. I’ll definitely be back!

My experience at this restaurant was that it's a bumping spot with a buzzing bar and pretty good martinis. The actual space was quite crowded on a Saturday, which is understandable, but the hostess was awesome and very helpful with finding us a spot at the bar. I probably wouldn't prioritize coming back, but it was a good time.

I visited this restaurant last year and had a fantastic experience; the food, drinks, and overall vibe were very cool, chic, and high-end. Unfortunately, my visit last night was a stark contrast. It has devolved into a basic marina bar scene, akin to a post-college drunk fest. I ordered two cocktails that were poorly made, with short pours, and they cost me a hefty $50. This was a big bummer. The establishment clearly had it, and now it's lost. There should never be sediment in a $25 Manhattan, and the St. Germain Spritz was the worst I've ever had, tasting like soda water. It was extremely lame.

I had an amazing night at Left Door in San Francisco. I literally left 30 minutes ago and had to make this review the minute I got home. My group worked our way through a handful of cocktails—Redwood, Vesper, Manhattan, G&T, and a couple others Emma helped us whip up—and every single one was truly world class. They had perfect balance, thoughtful execution, and that “wow” factor you want from a great cocktail bar. What really made the night unforgettable though was Emma, our bartender/server. She absolutely knocked it out of the park. Not only was every drink dialed in, but she brought so much warmth, energy, and knowledge to the experience. She turned a great night into an outstanding one. Honestly, Left Door wouldn’t shine the same without her. Highly recommend for anyone who loves cocktails. 🍸

I made a reservation and then cancelled it. However, they charged me a cancellation fee of $60. What a joke.

Our experience at the restaurant was perfect. The drinks were on point, and the service was fast, attentive, and friendly. We also found the pricing reasonable considering the quality, and appreciated the absence of "SF mandate junk fees. " Overall, a great job by Left Door.
