I am writing this review specifically because the most expensive item on the menu, the $175 steak, has an additional $15 charge to cut it. I have never encountered a steakhouse that charges extra for steak cutting. I will update on the taste of the food later.

My experience at this restaurant was absolutely awesome! The food, drinks, service, and ambience were all top-notch. I particularly enjoyed the delicious cocktails. We savored the tartare, sambusas, and oxtail pasta, along with sides of rice and injera. Every single dish was incredible. To finish, we indulged in the East African donuts, which were a unique and memorable treat. I highly recommend this spot for anyone seeking a fresh, flavorful fusion experience.

I came here for my Fiancé Birthday and the ambience was great, the food was delicious, and the staff is so friendly and welcoming! I highly recommend this place for a great dinner date with your partner!

My experience at this restaurant was largely positive, with the food being a standout. It was very well-seasoned and packed with flavor. The UpBeat energy drinks were tasty, but unfortunately, they lacked a significant punch, feeling more like a sweetened beverage than a cocktail. The bartender needs to ensure there's actual liquor in the cocktails. Despite this, it was an overall positive experience.

My experience at Meski was truly outstanding! It's hands down one of the best hidden gems in San Francisco. The blend of Ethiopian and Latino flavors is absolutely incredible; every dish we tried was packed with unique flavors and beautifully presented. The steak and eggs with the tableside flame was next level, the French toast was unforgettable, and the drinks were perfectly crafted. The ambiance is vibrant yet cozy, making it a perfect spot for brunch or dinner. On top of that, the customer service was exceptional – the staff was attentive, welcoming, and made the entire experience even better.

From the moment I walked into Meski, I was greeted by a cheerful hostess who quickly seated our group. The ambiance, filled with art and music, was a complete vibe that truly lived up to the hype. The owner personally came to our table to greet us when our drinks arrived, and he was extremely friendly and welcoming. For my meal, I ordered the NY Strip Bistec and Pollo Guisado Sambusas, which were absolutely amazing. The fusion of Ethiopian and Dominican cuisine created a flavor explosion that more than satisfied my palate. As someone of Ethiopian heritage who grew up eating traditional foods, I can confidently say this unique twist on culinary and culture will definitely have me coming back for more.
