Cute place, terrible service
My experience at this restaurant was disappointing due to the terrible service. Although the establishment is cute, the service significantly detracted from the meal. Our group of four experienced a lengthy wait for our food, with the first person to order being the last to receive their meal. It took an excessive amount of time to receive just two drinks, and we were never offered a refill. Furthermore, the staff never returned to check on us at all. I would definitely not recommend this establishment.

Quick Service, Okay Burrito
My experience with the California burrito was just okay; I've had better. However, it did come out quick, and the girl working the drive-in was friendly.

Confusing "Mexicali Style" Tacos
My experience with the "Mexicali Style" tacos was quite surprising. I found that these tacos had nothing to do with the tacos I've tasted before. The inclusion of carrots in the taco was particularly unexpected; I questioned if it was real. I've tried tacos from various places, and none of them have ever included carrots. I believe the owners should investigate what the real Mexicali style of tacos entails.

Flavorful Tacos, Cozy Atmosphere
My experience at this restaurant was a delightful surprise! I stopped here on a whim after work and was immediately impressed by the incredible flavor and selection, which more than made up for the limited space. I had a wonderful chat with the owner, an incredible gal whose passion for regional Sonoran cuisine truly shines through in her food. The two tacos I ordered, an asada and an al pastor, were demolished in minutes. The hand-made flour tortillas were a standout, perfectly complementing the delicious and flavorful fillings. They were topped with shredded cabbage, chopped cilantro and onions, and the accompanying salsa was superbly good. The place is cozy and small, but the food selection is extensive. It truly felt like a family-style eatery, like stopping at a friend's house for a quick bite.

Great Tacos and Friendly Staff
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! I've tried most of their tacos, and my absolute favorite is the shrimp tacos. The staff were also incredibly friendly, making the overall visit very pleasant.

Delicious Tacos with Amazing Tortillas!
My experience at the restaurant was fantastic, primarily due to the delicious tacos. The pescado taco was a standout, featuring perfectly fried and crunchy fish with fresh toppings. I also enjoyed the shrimp, al pastor, carne asada, and even the soy-rizo tacos, all of which were incredibly tasty with well-balanced spices. The orange salsa provided a pleasant, lingering heat. What truly elevated the meal were the FRESH amazing tortillas, available in both corn and flour.

Excellent Value Mexicali Tacos
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic! The homemade flour tortillas and flame-grilled meats were amazing and offered an excellent bang for your buck. I particularly enjoyed the Mexicali style tacos, which came with cabbage, beans, and guacamole. This was a refreshing change of pace from the other street tacos available in the area.

Terrible Mexican Food Experience
My experience at this restaurant was incredibly disappointing. The food was either extremely bland or excessively salty, a stark contrast to other Mexican restaurants in San Diego. The salsas were watery with odd flavorings. I would never recommend spending money here for this less than mediocre food.

Extremely Salty Burrito, Poor Quality Ingredients
I ordered an el pastor burrito through Uber Eats and unfortunately, I couldn't even eat more than two bites because it was so salty. The materials inside just seemed cheap; you could find a better tasting burrito in a public school lunch.
