Las Morelias - Reviews

This restaurant has become my second favorite go-to for Carnitas. I usually order them by the pound and split half carnitas and half buche. I don't typically like buche, but it's surprisingly good here. I tend to go later at night, right before they close, so service and parking are not an issue. It's a nice mom and pop shop.

My experience at Las Morelias was a solid 4-star one! 🌮 The tacos were flavorful and fresh, and the meats were well seasoned. The service was friendly and quick, though it did get a bit busy at times. Overall, I enjoyed the great food, fair prices, and the cozy place to enjoy real Mexican flavors. It's definitely worth coming back!

My experience at this restaurant was a complete waste of both money and time. The waiter approached our table with a terrible attitude, offering no greeting or attempt to serve us. The food was equally disappointing. My menudo took about 20 minutes to arrive, indicating it wasn't fresh, and it was chewy and unpleasant. The carnitas were no better, tasting frozen despite a 15-minute wait for them. This was particularly frustrating as there were only two other people in the restaurant, leaving no excuse for the delays or poor service. Nothing about this experience felt fresh or worth the price.

My experience at the restaurant was disappointing. There was only one person serving everyone, and they couldn't handle it all. The beers were expensive! For a place that specializes in carnitas, they surprisingly don't sell chicharron. I would recommend going to La Imperial instead.

My experience at this restaurant was quite disappointing, especially concerning the birria de chivo. I specifically inquired about bones and was assured they could be removed. However, instead of a flavorful bone soup, I received a large cup of broth with almost no meat and a couple of bones still present. This was very disappointing, particularly given the price of almost $20.

I love this place! They have upgraded it recently, and it now looks very nice and clean. You can't beat the prices here for such a fulfilling meal. The ladies are always nice and welcoming.
