Cute Atmosphere, But Service Issues
My experience at this restaurant was a mixed bag. The atmosphere was cute and there was a good variety of choices. The fish was fresh, but some pieces had odd pairings, and I found there weren't a lot of traditional nigiri options like I expect at conveyor belt sushi. The biggest problem was the service and timing of everything. We arrived right when it opened at noon and immediately ordered about 10 dishes, all raw sushi and nothing complicated. I had a little over an hour before an appointment and figured it would be no problem since conveyor belt sushi is meant to be fast. I was wrong; I had to leave at the last minute and was still missing 3 of the dishes we ordered. The hostess kindly removed those dishes from our check, but it was unfortunate to leave still hungry!

Disappointing Conveyor Belt Sushi Experience
My experience at this restaurant was not great. I was recommended this place as a "conveyor belt sushi" with a "bullet train" by an influencer. Unfortunately, the sushi was just okay, and even after placing large orders, the wait time was enormously long. I was under the impression that with "conveyor belt" sushi, the dishes would keep coming, but that was not the case. Additionally, most rolls were priced at $5 for only 4 pieces and were excessively full of rice. The tacos were an interesting idea but ultimately did not fulfill expectations. I would not recommend this restaurant.

Solid Mid-Tier Sushi Experience
Truly wonderful Kouyou has landed in Queen Anne. It's an amazing spot 🤌 I go frequently and can’t recommend enough! The train experience is fun and the price is right. It’s not top-shelf sushi and it’s not supposed to be. Either way, it’s a sold mid tier. For $30 a head you can eat a lot of food! It's a quantity play to be sure. Go to Shiros or otherwise if you want luxury.

Solid Sushi, Fun Delivery!
My experience at this restaurant was quite positive, particularly with the sushi, which was really solid. The ramen was just okay, but the delivery system was super fun! I would definitely eat here again, even though the prices are a bit higher than I'm used to for sushi.

Disappointing Sushi Experience
I arrived moments after they opened and was excited to try their sushi, as I hadn't had it in a while. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. I tried to order a roll and a side, but the side was already sold out, even at opening on a Tuesday. The menu was off-putting, featuring sushi with American cheese. I tried the tiger roll I ordered, and it was underwhelming. While it's a cute spot, I will be going somewhere else.

Promising New Sushi Spot with Service Issues
I recently visited this new sushi restaurant and was impressed by how clean and welcoming the space felt. The atmosphere was fresh and modern, and it’s clear the team put care into the setup. Unfortunately, the service didn’t quite match the setting; my drink order never arrived, and I ended up finding a small piece of metal in my miso soup, which I think came from a cleaning scrubber. It really took away from what could have been an enjoyable meal. I truly hope this was just an isolated mistake, as the restaurant has great potential if they can tighten up their service and food safety.

Disappointing Service, Good Food
My experience at this restaurant was mixed. While the food was good, the service was severely lacking. We experienced a significant delay in service after pressing the call button. Our order initially wouldn't go through, and after flagging down a hostess, we discovered they were out of salmon. This information should have been communicated when we were seated or indicated on the tablet menu. The ice cream arrived first and was completely melted by the time our main courses arrived. Additionally, we were told something was delivered to our table that was not. Due to these issues, I would not return.

Awful Service, Overpriced Meal
If I could, I would give the service -1 star! We went in at 7 PM on a Saturday night for dinner. Even though there were entire front row tables open, the waitress made us wait 20 minutes to be seated. For some reason, they only had one waitress working on a Saturday night. Finally, when she sat us down, she gave us no water, no soy sauce bowl, no wasabi, no ginger – just an empty table. Before she even sat us down, we asked for water and we still didn’t get anything. We ordered some rolls but had no soy sauce bowls or wasabi to enjoy them! And STILL no water! 20 minutes later, we had to chase her down 2 separate times for just the soy sauce bowls and some water! I literally had to stand with her at the front counter and wait for the water, otherwise, she would just disappear to the back again for who knows how long! We also ordered a drink (one drink from the fridges) and it took halfway through our meal for her to bring it to us. When she finally did, she said, “Do you still need this? ” like we didn’t already pay for it and have been waiting for so long. Since the service was so bad and the meal was incredibly overpriced, we decided not to tip. She doesn’t do much serving, and the service she did provide was absolutely awful! As we were getting ready to leave (never coming here again), the waitress YELLED at us in front of everyone, “If you don’t want to leave a tip, you should not be eating here. ” Girl, we would have left you a tip, but the service was absolutely horrible! I’ve never had a server EXPECT a tip for absolutely terrible service and then YELL at her customers for not giving her a tip! The minimum tip for our meal was going to be close to $20! Absolutely did not deserve that at all for the horrible service she gave us! Such a horrible experience! We might have considered coming back since the place was still new to give it a second try, but now? Not after the treatment we got from the waitress.
