My experience at Florio felt like stepping into a Parisian neighborhood brasserie, right here on Fillmore. The bouillabaisse was a true standout, and we couldn't find a single dud on the menu. The food was exceptional, and the atmosphere was equally impressive, earning a perfect score. It's a place where every dish seems to be a hit.

My experience at the restaurant was pretty good overall. I particularly enjoyed the arancini appetizer and the Fillmore East cocktail. The service was fantastic, and it offered a nice date vibe. My experience at this nice little cocktail bar was fantastic. The drinks were killer, and the vibes were really cool. From the curb appeal alone, the place looked beautiful. The atmosphere was a perfect 5, and the food was also rated a 5. The service was excellent, receiving a 5-star rating, and the price per person was reasonable at $10–20.

I visited hoping to get drinks and food at the bar, but the experience was disappointing. The bar was full, with only one stray seat available when we needed two. We stood at the bar, intending to order drinks while waiting for seats, and saw a group paying their check. However, the bartender harshly informed us that no one was leaving soon and there was “really isn’t any standing room. ” Another patron mentioned he'd be done in 5 or 10 minutes, but we declined. Honestly, I would have preferred a direct and polite explanation that the bar was full, rather than the passive aggression we received. We ended up going to The Tailor's Son and received much better treatment. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I've visited Florio Bar and Cafe in San Francisco numerous times. The cozy atmosphere is truly inviting, and the food is delicious, even when they're out of brussels sprouts. While the prices are a bit steep, and occasional discrepancies on the final bill can occur, the overall quality makes it worthwhile. Despite other reviews mentioning issues with service and the bartender, I have personally never encountered any problems.

My husband and I dine out a lot in the city, and we frequently visit Florio. We find this restaurant to be one of our favorites. The food, whether it's steak, pasta, or fish, is always superb. The wait staff are experienced and very friendly. The bartender is skilled with both traditional and exotic drinks. It is a great venue for celebrations.
