My experience was awful. I ordered pizza, and it was a complete rip off. When the pizza arrived, everything was falling off of the crust, making it a mess. To make matters worse, I found a piece of hair in it. YUCK!

Our family loves the pizza from Red Sea. They also have other Mediterranean foods ready to eat. It's not a restaurant, but it reminds me of NYC. The food was rated a 4, and the service was a perfect 5. While parking can be somewhat difficult to find, the overall experience was positive.

The convenience of a nearby train stop, perfect for heading to Balboa Park or Embarcadero, was a plus. I picked up my sandwich and drink and enjoyed my meal at the J stop. I opted for the BBQ chicken skewer sandwich, which I'd heard was "GAS. " The staff member at the counter was incredibly chill, playing great music and was fast and friendly while taking my order. He explained the various topping and bread options. I chose the classic Dutch crunch with mayo, pickles, onions, jalapeños, pesto, and other toppings. My sandwich was ready in under 10 minutes, with the game on in the background. The total cost was around $12. The first bite confirmed it – this sandwich was indeed "GAS, " especially for a corner deli. Every bite was enjoyable, flavorful, and fresh, exceeding expectations. It was an amazing sandwich, and I'm eager to return and try more of the menu, perhaps the Lamb Gyro next. Even after finishing, I felt satisfied and still craved another, a testament to how good it was. My train arrived at the perfect time, allowing me to savor the sandwich and the environment on my way home. Kudos to the owners and staff for their excellent work. The sandwich was "heem. "

We were craving pizza and Red Sea seemed like a good option due to its great reviews. We called for an order, and the person on the phone was nice, recommending the Pesto and Balboa Park veggie pizzas as bestsellers. The order was ready on time, and the service was excellent, which is why we gave 2 stars. However, the pizza quality was extremely low, possibly one of the worst we've ever had. The veggies looked like bottom of the barrel – the tomato was colorless and tasteless, and the onion still had peel. The dough tasted like cardboard and didn't seem properly proofed. The cheese was also low quality and tasteless. We felt sick after eating it. For $45 for two small pizzas, we expected at least an average experience, but this was unpleasant and not worth it. We are very disappointed and wonder if it was a bad day or if they had only rotten produce.
