Disappointing Food, Great Service
My experience at this restaurant was a mixed bag. While everyone I spoke to was very nice, I was ultimately disappointed with the quality of the food. The meat ravioli was bland, and the sauce lacked flavor, possibly from a jar.
Even the garlic bread was missing any garlic taste. On a positive note, the salad was a very generous portion, which I appreciated. As a supporter of small businesses, I hope this was just an off night for some of their less successful items.

Delicious Food, Limited Refills
I loved the food, it was super delicious and well-prepared. We ate the pesto, which is their specialty (mona), and another one without cheese. The only thing is that refills are only offered once.

Delicious Italian with Cheerful Service
My experience at this lovely Italian restaurant near downtown San Diego was very pleasant. The decor was nice, and the service was excellent and very cheerful. I enjoyed the delicious food, specifically the homemade pesto pasta.
My companion had the chicken parmesan, and both dishes were tasty and prepared in the old way. The delicious salad that came with our meal, along with the home-baked bread, was also a highlight. It was sad that we were leaving town the next day and couldn't enjoy our very tasty leftovers.

Fabulous Family Business Off the Beaten Path
What a delight to happen upon this lovely family business! The moment you walk in, the aromas of the pasta sauce grab you and make your mouth water. Everything was excellent.
This place is off the beaten path of tourism, but it is fabulous! The staff are very warm and welcoming. The food is excellent.

Mixed Experience: Decent Pizza, Poor Cannelloni
My first visit to this restaurant was a mixed experience. I ordered a pepperoni pizza 🍕, which was decent. However, the cannelloni was a significant letdown; I'd advise saving your $6.
The pasta shell was very hard, the filling was runny, and it contained huge chocolate chips, making it not good at all.

Excellent Food, Sweet Service, Needs a Refresh
My boyfriend and I visited for an early dinner on a Tuesday afternoon. The restaurant wasn't busy, so we were seated at a nice booth. Our server was very sweet and prompt.
I enjoyed the tortellini with mushroom cream sauce, which was excellent. The large slices of mushroom were cooked perfectly, reminding me of steakhouse style, and the cream sauce was clearly homemade and divine. My boyfriend had the spaghetti with red sauce and added sausage; the sausage, while a little mild for his taste, was considered good quality.
Contrary to a recent post about cold food, ours was served visibly steaming. The garlic bread, a buttered and toasted sandwich roll, was adequate. The restaurant was clean throughout, including the floor, bathroom, and utensils.
However, it is looking a little rundown. Despite the decor, the restaurant is maintaining food quality, which is more important than new chairs or paint.

Disappointing Experience with Tacky Music and Overpriced Food
My experience at this restaurant was disappointing. The music was tacky, and the food was so-so. To make matters worse, I and several people in my party were charged above the menu prices for our food.
Additionally, the food was not brought out all at once, but rather one at a time, leaving people hungry and waiting.
