Good Bagel, Underripe Tomato
My experience was for a pickup order, and the food was ready right on time. I enjoyed the nice chewy bagel with a good seasoning blend. However, the tomato was a little underripe, but overall the sandwich was fine.

Worst Coffee Experience in SF
I don’t usually write bad reviews, but this was one of the worst coffee experiences I’ve had in San Francisco. First, the coffee. My partner literally winced at his first sip — it was that bitter and unpleasant.
He even said something like, “Oh no, this is bad, ” and he wasn’t exaggerating. And to top it off, he accidentally spilled some on me (ouch). Normally, good coffee can make up for clumsy moments.
Unfortunately, this one wasn’t even worth the stain. The vibe was equally disappointing. Instead of the welcoming energy you’d hope for in a café, it felt rushed, careless, and uninspired.
There are so many great spots in the city for coffee and a quick bite — this place just isn’t one of them. Bottom line: If you want burnt-tasting coffee and a forgettable experience, this might be your spot. Otherwise, do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else.

Great Classic Turkey Sandwich!
My first time here, I tried the super basic turkey on french roll. It was a great classic sandwich with fresh bread and friendly staff. The food, service, and atmosphere all received a perfect 5/5 rating.

Great Food, Must Stop More Often!
As a limousine driver, stopping for lunch isn't easy. However, I had a client who was stopping by this little cafe. I decided to grab a coffee and a great tasty BLT.
Now I need to stop by more often. The food is great, I love it!

Amazing Employees and Fire Sandwiches!
My experience at this restaurant was great. The employees are amazing and the sandwiches are fire. They also make them quick for catering, so that isn't an issue.
The quality is comparable to Boars Head. The vegetarian options are clearly labeled, and I would highly recommend them for vegetarians. While the atmosphere and food received a 5/5, and service was rated 5/5, the kid-friendliness was noted as 'not so much'.
Parking is mostly for dual sport/motorcycle, with paid street parking available. Wait time was non-existent, and wheelchair accessibility is good.

Craving the Bagel Sandwiches!
I really miss the ham and pesto bagel sandwich and the Cajun chicken sandwich so much that I actually dream about them. Their salads are also some of the best! Even though I don't work in SF anymore, I have to stop here whenever I'm in the area during the day.

Great Spot for a Quick Bite!
I was looking for a quick bite to eat earlier this week and found this gem! The sandwiches were really delicious, especially the California Melt. It was also cool that the owner remembered me on my second visit lol.
I highly recommend this spot and it will be my go-to stop when I'm in SF!

Addicted to the California Cobb Bowl!
I am absolutely addicted to Working Girls' Cafe! I've been a loyal customer for over 5 years. While I always tell myself to try something new, I inevitably end up ordering my favorite: the California Cobb Bowl.
The anticipation builds as I get closer, imagining digging into this flavorful bowl. My taste buds awaken, and my heart races. By the time I reach the counter, my friends there know my usual and I automatically say 'yes' to the 'regular.
' This bowl is a complete meal, packed with delicious ingredients like Chicken Breast, Avocado, Bacon, Gorgonzola Cheese, Hard boiled Egg, Cucumber, Tomato, and Red Onions, all served on a bed of Organic Kale and Organic Quinoa, with Balsamic Vinaigrette on the side. Beyond the Cobb Bowl, their sandwiches are incredible. The California Melt sandwich I had last time was delicious, featuring smoked turkey, fresh veggies, bacon, melted Swiss cheese, and avocado on a warm, toasted soft roll.
Even the coffee is good, with an espresso shot to keep me going. The atmosphere is rated a 4, and the service and food both receive a perfect 5. It's a lunch spot with a price range of $10–20 per person, though finding parking can be somewhat difficult.
