Beautiful Ambiance, Solid but Unremarkable Food
My experience at How to Cook a Wolf in Madison Park was marked by a truly fantastic ambience and décor. The space is beautifully designed, feeling both intimate and thoughtful. Unfortunately, the food didn't quite match the setting for us. While the mafaldine with braised duck ragu was good, it could have benefited from fattier duck parts and more unified flavors. The burrata with roasted delicata and pomegranate featured fresh ingredients, but the flavor profile felt a bit scattered. The Sea Wolf sourdough was pricey but worth ordering. Overall, it's a beautiful spot with solid food, though I expected a bit more cohesion in the dishes given its reputation.

Unforgettable Seattle Dining Experience
My experience at this restaurant was truly unforgettable. I highly recommend indulging in their tasty small plates before diving into the pasta. The food, service, and atmosphere all received a perfect 5/5 rating, making it a must-visit spot.

Wildly Overpriced with Hidden Surcharges
I had dinner here with my youngest child. The food is wildly overpriced, PLUS there's a fine-print 22% surcharge added! When the prices on the menu are false, that's scummy. I watched our waiter bring out our drinks while the host knocked them over, and our drink orders were forgotten, too. Never going back here.

Overpriced Pasta, Elitist Service
I've been coming to both locations for over 15 years, but the food is no better than Due' Cucina now. The price for simple pasta here is actually ridiculous. In a sea of good Seattle Italian food, why pay a triple premium for service that is elitist and for food that is just okay? I'd recommend checking out Mioposto or Thats Amore Italian Cafe instead.

Incredible Food, Impeccable Service, Great Value
My experience at this restaurant was fantastic. The food was incredible, and the service was impeccable. They also have a great wine list. The bill was less than expected, making it a great value. Thank you, Coley!

Birthday Dinner Disappointment
My birthday dinner experience was largely disappointing, despite a promising start. While the appetizers and drinks were great, the main courses fell short. My partner's New York steak was not properly trimmed, making it tough and a bit salty. My Gnocchi was inedible due to an excessive amount of salt. The dessert was good, however. The service was poor; our server didn't check on our meal and brought the check prematurely, before we were ready for it, even though we had planned on another drink. The atmosphere was great, but it couldn't compensate for the food and service issues. I really wanted to enjoy this place, especially seeing another family celebrating a birthday have a much better experience with their server. Overall, $318 was not well spent, and I won't be recommending this restaurant.

Good food, poor service and atmosphere
My experience at this restaurant was mixed. The food was good, earning a 4 out of 5. However, the service was very slow, rated at 1 out of 5. The atmosphere was also a significant drawback, with a noise level described as 'Very loud, hard to hear', and rated at 2 out of 5. Finding parking was difficult, with only free street parking available, and it was hard to find a spot.
