I ordered 3 musubi and 2 mac salads. What should have been a quick 5-10 minute order took 30 minutes. The food itself was fine, but the extended waiting time was a significant drawback.

My experience at this restaurant was a mixed bag. The food was good, earning a high rating. However, the service was practically non-existent. The staff appeared bored and unhappy. Ordering ahead is not an option, and since the food is made to order, the waiting time is excessively long. This makes it impossible to grab a meal during a short 30-minute lunch break. If you have ample time to spare, then this place might be worth a visit.

I normally love L&L, but this visit was a terrible experience. Upon arrival, it appeared the restaurant was closed due to a lack of staff at the front. When I was finally assisted, the server displayed an unpleasant attitude, seeming uninterested in being there. It took nearly 20 minutes to receive my food, which was also disappointing in quality. The food was hard to chew and lacked the usual flavor found at other L&L locations. I am very dissatisfied and expected better service, especially considering the restaurant's location on a military base. It was a truly disappointing visit.

My experience ordering takeout on a Saturday at 2: 20 PM was disappointing. Despite being the only one in line, it took 30 minutes to receive our order. To make matters worse, other customers who ordered after us received their food before us. Upon arriving home, I discovered the garlic shrimp was terribly prepared and unlike anything served at other locations. The shrimp were unpeeled, not deveined, and fried to a crisp, making them hard as a rock. The black vein waste was still attached and fried on. There was also no garlic sauce, rendering the dish inedible. I am incredibly disappointed with this experience.

Although the place looked shut down due to a lack of lights and people at the front, someone came out and assisted me. I ordered the chicken katsu curry, which took about 15 minutes to prepare. While that's a bit of a wait, I received an ABSURD amount of food for $12. 99. It was enough to feed two people easily, and the food was fresh and piping hot. I'm thankful to whoever provided such a generous portion. The cashier was also nice, though I didn't catch her name.

I have visited this place several times, and unfortunately, I have consistently been disappointed by their service. They often seemed to be behind schedule and unprepared to serve customers. The food quality was also poor, leading to me feeling sick. I suspect they may have used old or improperly cooked ingredients. I believe the management should adjust the work hours to ensure a smoother daily process. Given that this place is on a military base, I expected a higher standard of work. I hope the management and corporate will intervene to fix these problems before the situation deteriorates further.

I previously read many older reviews and would have agreed with them back then. However, NOW this is a GREAT eatery. I returned after a 3-year hiatus to find EXCELLENT FOOD and Service. The new owner and the lady running this location have truly made this place top notch. I've enjoyed three meals in the past three weeks, and each one was fantastic. This location is by far the best L&L I have ever eaten at. KUDOS to the new manager/owner for making this place great. Keep it up!

My experience at this restaurant was quite disappointing due to the lack of flavor in several dishes. The Mac salad and the chicken katsu were both bland. The katsu sauce was particularly problematic; it seemed watered down and then thickened with corn starch, resulting in a "glue sauce" that was terrible. While the chicken itself was cooked perfectly, it unfortunately had no flavor. I was very disappointed with the overall taste experience.

My experience at this restaurant was marked by incredibly slow service. Despite there not being a line and only one person ahead of me, I waited 22 minutes. To make matters worse, three people who ordered after me received their meals before I did. I'm left wondering, what is going on at this place? !

My experience at this restaurant was similar to other chain restaurants in Hawaii, with the exception of the one in Laie. It's my go-to for a katsu curry fries plate lunch. While it might be around 5 million calories, it's totally worth it.
